Don't worry, I never wanted him to make the rotation either. Remember my reaction? Matrix was all like "YEAH FRANCIS" and I was like "NO WAY".... *sigh*... that was great... </portal reference>

Also, Lazy Ass Bonzi is in the rotation, to your delight Reilo!

Bwahaha. I'll give him 35 games until he spits on a fan. At a home game. Wearing a Rockets uniform.

i hate all these analysts

"LOL LOL LOL Dallas is a regular season team. They suck in the playoffs".

Did it ever occur to them that the one team they couldn't beat in the regular season also beat them in the playoffs? NBA is about matchups, and they will go to the finals (yes, beating the spurs) if they don't get matched up against gsw or phoenix.
Mavs are the new Colts?

I was thinking about you depressed Laker fans, but I found something optimistic about the fact that Kobe's probably leaving...

NO MORE KOBEX! The Lakers can start winning now! Farmar = Steve Nash, Bynum = New Shaq, Mihm = Luc Longley, and LO = Scottie Pippen!

Time to call DirecTV and talk my way into a free season of NBALP because they haven't made a deal with Comcast to provide me my Blazers feed.

Does anyone know if LP Broadband will be offered separately? I know it was offered during a period to international viewers last season, if I remember correctly.

how are the logistics of that going to work? and i hope if there actually are teams in europe, i hope they don't introduce new teams to an already watered-down league. they can move couple of teams over there like the clippers, grizzlies, bobcats, bucks, and some other shitty team.

they should have the all-star game first in europe

I'm sure Stern is going to love Europe's 18 years of age drinking laws. OJ Mayo to have a drinking scandal at next season's All Star game confirmed.

yeah, like the drinking age is preventing these guys from drinking here now

But in Europe they can do it in public.

So as long as Dallas can beat SA in the second round the Suns have a clear path to the Finals?

Amsterdam!

pretty much

epic lulz

the suns'll implode if they don't win this year, in a few years they'll become one of the garbage franchises of the league anyway, since they traded like all their picks for the next 6 years

It's crazy how people are writing off the Mavs. Seriously, one bad matchup and the franchise reverts back to the Triple J days? Ugh, so ridiculous. I'm not sure how a team gets the "Regular Season Only" label when there were a few minutes away from winning the Championship two years ago. If they could have closed out Game 3, they would have easily won everything and people might even talk about them like they do the Spurs now.

That would make Dirk equivalent to Peyton Manning?

Yeah. That's not going to work.

A white guy who was considered great but unable to win it all until he proved he could? I hope so.

The Mavs signed Juwan Howard and cut Mbenga today. That's a plus.

$10 off my monthly DirecTV for 9 months, so NBALP only costs me $70. :D

The customer rep even asked me how I felt about the Oden injury, so he was at least in tune with my interests.

Yeah, I don't they deserve to be written off. They're a well-built offensive machine (well defensive moreso now ever since Avery became coach). But the thing is the West has gotten stronger this year overall, provided that competitors can stay injury free.

It's going to be tough in the West. Injuries and team chemistry will determine who comes out on top.

Juwan Howard? That's a team morale signing. Someone's gotta counter Josh Howard's ego in the locker room.

Once the Trail Blazers are announced tonight in San Antonio, coach Nate McMillan said he will lead his team off the court and into the bowels of the AT&T Center, where they will try to stay warm and loose during the Spurs' ring ceremony.

"As soon as they turn the lights off, we will walk off the floor,'' McMillan said. "You are talking about standing out there anywhere between 12 and 15 minutes. We won't go to the locker room - they have an area here and Bobby (strength and conditioning coach Bobby Medina) will keep them loose. We want to keep their attention on the game, and what we are here for.''

COTY!

[Okay, maybe not, but he will be one year :)]

Interesting. The one game Sony decides to money-hat the commercials for is The Simpsons. Probably because the movie is exclusive to Blu-Ray, too.

Yeah, seriously. This is definitely NOT the time to be bouncing an idea like that around. Hell, it'll take 10 years to get the talent pool back on track with the one-and-done system.

Love the juxtaposition of LMA and Duncan on that last graphic before the commercial break.

So Duncan signed a 2 year extension that will keep him in SA for another 5 years AND he took less money so that the Spurs can build around him.

Seriously, could the Spurs have gotten ANY luckier in that draft a decade ago? Buford probably has a tattoo of Timmy in his lower back.
