What... Jeff Hardy was booed? Since when and why?

Cause he's a horrible wrestler and because he said publicly that the only reason he wanted to work for Ring of Honor was because he needed the money. Apparently they didnt like that very much.

After watching parts of Raw again I noticed 2 ROH wrestlers (striker and one of the cops) a ROH sign that was not taken by the event staff that got on TV about 20 times and Matt Hardy givin ROH 2 mentions.....

If that dosent tell me that WWE wants to give ROH some free plugs then I dont know what does!

If another ROH name shows up on SD (or RAW next week) to do some work then there is some goin on backstage between both companies.

Jeff Hardy is a horrible wrestler? What... are you guys crazy? Nobody even cares about ROH or any of those other gay wrestling companies, it's all about the WWE and always will be. If the fans booed out Jeff Hardy... then they will continue to burry there own stupid grave. I like how they try to get the bigger guys to come into TNA and ROH and crap like that... it never works, why bother.

Jeff Hardy is a horrible wrestler... that's a good one, ha ha ha... boy that's funny!

( More than half the wrestlers who wrestle in TNA and ROH are useless garbage )

I have typed to much all day to bother getting into an argument with you but all I will say is Jeff Hardy is terrible he has not had one good match since his WWE days and most of his stuff from their were just “cage jumps” and “big bumps”. He would not know what pacing was if it hit him in the face.

Yeah... I don't even know what the ROH is... anyone care to explain? If it's not in America, then it's garbage...

As for Jeff Hardy being bad... I don't know... compared to HHH and Batista and slow crappy guys like them, he's pretty damn good!

Ring Of Honor is a relatively new wrestling promotion that many ppl are calling the next ECW, but the focus isn't on hardcore wrestling but more traditional stuff. Its based somewhere in the northeast (Jersey I think).
I'm sure Brian Fellows or someone else can explain better (if they didn't already by the time I finished typing this)...

And regarding Jeff Hardy: he's overated as fuck. He is a spot monkey, all he knows how to do is take risks but his skills have declined dramatically since his Hardy Boys run. His matches are just flat and there are far better spot monkeys out there. If you ever check out ROH check for Jack Evans...

Ring Of Honor
From Wikipedia

The Ring of Honor (ROH) is an independent professional wrestling promotion created in 2002. It is one of the leading US Independent companies and usually holds two or three shows every month. Annual shows include the Anniversary Show, Death Before Dishonor, Glory By Honor, Round Robin Challenge and Final Battle.

Unlike World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), which mostly focuses on physical appearance, microphone skills, gimmicks, and characters, Ring of Honor showcases technical matches with smaller but very skilled performers.

Matches tend to be longer than those of larger promotions, and focus on the athletic abilities of the wrestlers.

Ring of Honor has developed a loyal fan base in the Northeast and around the country.

ROH wrestling school

The ROH promotion also runs a professional wrestling school called ROH Wrestling School in Bristol, PA. Its current head trainer is Austin Aries. One class of students have already graduated and currently wrestle on the US Independent Circuit. The second class are in training presently.

Slightly out of date, but you get the idea!

LOW KI!!!

Brandon Silvestry aka Low Ki is an American professional wrestler of Puerto Rican and Italian extraction, currently performing for independent promotions, including Ring Of Honor and Jersey All Pro Wrestling. Low Ki is often underestimated due to his small stature, but his formidable use of karate-chops and kicks are a match for any wrestler.

While Ki is considered one of the top independent talents and athletes in the world, he is sometimes chided for his mic skills, or lack there-of.

Also noteworthy, Ki is very prompt at replying to fanmail, answering most, if not all queries.

Career

A frequent competitor on NWA:TNA and US indy scene, Ki first made his way to Japan with the Zero-One promotion. It was in Zero-One that Ki won his first singles title, the Zero-One Light Heavyweight Title, which he held till late 2003. Ki left Zero-One in mid 2004 to join Pro Wrestling NOAH, where he was instantly given a title shot against GHC Jr. Heavyweight champion Yoshinobu Kanemaru. Although he was unsuccessful in his challenge, Ki has been quickly establishing himself in the NOAH ranks.

Stolen from the ROH Message boards...

ROH was originally created by another video company that shall remain unnamed..except in 30 other threads as a way to replace the revenue lost when ECW shut down as ECW Tape Sales were a huge part of the company.
ROH began running a show a month in the Murphy Rec Center in Philly and then did what few Indies actually do..branched out. They began running in Wakefield Mass. as well. Then they moved to Jersey..expanded to the Midwest.
NWA-TNA might be considered Number 2 in terms of what they have..backers willing to inject money into them while a hole bleeds it out..and they have TV that they have to pay for.
ROH has better talent, more venues(TNA has run in only 3 different locations in their existance), DVDs that probably sell better and a better fan base than a bunch of guys with nothing better to do than go see a free show and passerbyes in Universal Studios

Actually, I think this whole Matt Hardy thing is real... they didn't even mention it on the website at all... and the announcers never even talked about it...

Think about it... if WWE were to actually get Matt Hardy back, they would MILK the SHIT out of his comeback, and they wouldn't do it like they did it... believe you me...

Ok so now your either messing with us, or completely stupid.

But why would they arrest him with indy wrestlers dressed up as cops?

If you can show me a picture comparison of said indy wrestler as himself than as the cop... I'll believe you... if not... well...

More thoughts... (my mind is seriously fucked!!)

Maybe most of those released wrestlers (akio, kidman, hass, jackie) sorted out a deal with ROH before they were let go and then WWE give them some plug on the website to make sure they were remembered. They will wrestle soon in ROH then something will happen on WWE TV involving ROH (maybe videos showing up without reason showing former WWE wrestlers been on ROH)...

All this stems for me thinking WWE and ROH have got something planed together. Although I am sure a lot of ROH fans hate having themselves associated with the WWE but if it was only for a short time I could see them living with it. Free advertisement is great for ROH but I am sure WWE would come out looking good to if Low Ki fought his style of match in a WWE ring.

I got a couple videos of Low Ki fighting his style in a WWE ring if you want them. Though they've never seen Gangsta Ki and the Ghetto stomp from hell.

<---------------Low Ki is a wrestling god.

Well wait a minute...

HOW THE HELL DO YOU GUYS EVEN KNOW AGOUT ROH AND WATCH IT?

I want to watch it... is it even on TV?

Where is my access to it?

I want to see this loser Low Ki...

Low Ki is the man I seen a match with him and Amazing Red awhile ago and it revolutionized my beleif of what a wrestling match should be....

Low Ki can't be as good as RVD or Bret Hart... what is he a high flyer? Does he do Kurt Angle mat wrestling moves? Or is he like that Super Crazy, Psychosis and Eddy Guerro kinda crap?

Low Ki is...different. He uses a lot of martial arts stuff like RVD and kicks harder than Tajiri. His style is well rounded can do the high flying but more mat based, I can't really describe his style. If you like in ring action, then he is the man tho...

If you are talking about sending them via mail I am in Ireland and if you are talking about downloading I am on 56k. I sadly lose both ways :(

Come on dude, its a work, and the announcers were in on it... They need to sell this angle, like Matt Hardy just snuck into the building and got to Edge.... If he did in fact sneak into the building and was not allowed there, do you think he would be allowed backstage and to walk around freely?

Plus those stupid ass fake cop/Indy wrestlers.... I mean come on dude, it was all a scam...

WOW, all this time I thought you were funny in your little watered down "jackass/Viva La Bam" knock-off character. I never imagined you were actually this ...well.... dumb.

I don't think this will be a long term character for Hardy at all. Where do you go with him after the Edge/Lita thing? (BTW Anyone notice Lita's looking a bit... BIGGER lately? My wife even notice her rack seemed quite a bit bigger. New boob job perhaps?) I am very disappointed in Hardy as he is now a class "A" sell out. Completely disregarding all the crap they've done up to and including cutting Moore he still goes back. Well, I guess the money is truly what mattered all this time.

So much for integrity...so much for doing the "right thing", so much for going out and working indy dates and having fun, and falling in love with wrestling again.

Sean, I understand you're Canadian, so ROH might not be a commonly known thing up that way. But seriously, look into it.

As for doubting the cops were indy workers, THEY ALWAYS ARE. The EMTS, cops & security are always local indy workers. ALWAYS.

I REALLY disagree about your comment about alf of the TNA and ROH rosters being worthless garbage. That just shows your ignorance on the subjects of both rosters. You yourself said you've never heard of ROH, so how in the hell can you even form an opinion on them? And TNA? One of the best collections of diverse in ring workers out there.

They have people for every style. Give me a tape of Chris Daniels, AJ Styles, Sabin, Petey Williams, Samoa Joe (wow I love this guys style! Reminds me ALOT of ECW Taz) or Primetime anyday over the dreck that fills a WWE ring these days. Chris Masters makes the roster and yet Akio gets cut? WTF?

Watch a TNA PPV, you WILL get your money's worth. They've had ONE bad PPV since they've started with the monthly PPV's, my favorite being Lockdown. This Sunday you'll see the Debut of Rhyno on TNA!

Matt Hardy posts comments on his Web site
July 11, 2005

Following the events that occurred Monday night on RAW involving Matt Hardy, Lita and Edge, Hardy has posted the following comments on his own personal Web site:

"If you guys are ready for a ride, jump the f*** on. Well, I promised you all fireworks, so I hope I didn't disappoint. As of July 11th, 2005, my personal Independence Day, the Movement has begun-- and the Movement's purpose is two-fold. Purpose one--To never let anyone control what Matt Hardy says and does and thinks. Purpose two--To make Adam Copeland, Amy Dumas, and the WWE regret what they did to me, what they did to us. It's time for Matt Hardy to stand up for all the MFer's that have been chanting 'We Want Matt', and 'You Screwed Matt.'"

Be sure to watch Byte This! right here on WWE.com this Wednesday when special guest Lita promises to respond to Matt Hardy's comments.

I am thinking it is one of those worked shoots. It was a real situation, that WWE is about to take advantage of to make a shitload of money.

Unless...WWE is going to try to discredit Matt and make him look like a whining baby before he debuts in TNA.

I wouldn't be surprised in the least.....

Of course this could be just Vince smelling money by re-doing the Pillman "Loose Cannon" character.

BAH! I personally don't care either way. I'm not a huge fan of his, his work is solid but not great. He's not as huge of a star as people are making him out to be. I always found him to be more entertaining as a Tag team with his brother. They each covered each others in ring weaknesses pretty well.

I just have a problem when people are burned by an open flame and yet keep hopping back into the fiire.

Perhaps I am a bit jaded, but the joke will be on Hardy when he's fired after being jobbed out to Chris Masters a few times. After Vince gets the money from this angle he'll dispose of Hardy just like he did last time.

I guess this whole angle must make this book pretty worthless now:

7458749.jpg

Considering that in the book she is in a bubble bath with matt...

As long as I get my fun TV moments lile this one, I could careless about what WWE wrestlers do. He can get fired, rehired and go suck Pat Patterson's dick just to get a push for ol' times sake and it doesn't really bother me.

Who the hell is Low Ki??
LOL!

I'm glad to see ROH get the free ads. They're improving a lot since the early days where people just wrestled to show off their skill, rather than to have a believable, good match. I still don't fucking like Samoa Joe, though.

Low Ki's the one on the bottom loving Samoa Joe's angry ground and pound.

Matt's had the potential to break out as a huge star for quite some time. He was incredibly over during his initial Mattitude run on Smackdown. Furthermore, the huge pops he was receiving when he first debuted on Raw (even after his heel turn) proved that he had quite a large fan following. All he needed was a decent angle. After he returned last night, basically every big wrestling site was down because of how hard they were being hit. Face it. Hardy was a big star before. Now he's huge.

I hope he does break out and become a star, while I may not be a huge fan it is always nice to see new faces at the top. BUT, let's not dispute the fact that he never broke out of the mid card status, even on Smackdown. A show where the talent roster was A LOT thinner. He still lacks something that makes him a draw, maybe it's size, maybe just lacking a bit of in ring psychology. I can't put my finger on it...

I don't think this angle will be enough. It's going to be a quick bank on his personal problems and then swept under the rug again. Hardy is a short term draw. They considered him expendable before and chances are after they make their quick PPV buys they'll do the same again.

Found some pics of Low-Ki. Since I'm also from Canada, I never really heard of ROH until now. I hope it'll expand enough so I can catch it here sometime to know more what this is all about.

This is definitely a short-term cash grab for WWE and Matt if he is indeed going back. I don't blame either side. That is what they both want, to make money. Matt will not be a long-term main eventer, but he could have the one mega angle he probably never would have had if all this didn't go down. I say get while the getting's good.

Now of course, knowing Vince, the payoff to this angle will be that in the storyline, Matt is jealous of Lita being with Edge and they end up together in the end. :lol Vince always has a way of getting payback.

I think its because in the ring, he is a bit too boring. He needs something that spices up his style a bit more - i dunno give him an arabian facebuster instead of his boring 2nd rope leg drop, anything to differentiate him some.

Does anyone else think rvd should return with bill alfonso? Rvd needs someone who can toss him a chair when the ref's back is turned.

edit: Jebus so many spelling errors. Time for bed

To the idiot badmouthing ROH-

Save your comments until you actually see what ROH is all about. If you like quality wrestling matches that last more than 5 minutes and acutally have dynamic wrestling instead of the same thing every week, then ROH is for you. People know about ROH because theres more to the wrestling scene than sitting on your ass in front of the TV every monday and thursday. Depending on the city you live in, there could be a variety of worthwhile wrestling promotions that you can check out. ROH is an up and coming company and WWE knows that they have great talents. Most ROH classics are above and beyond 90% of what you see in the WWE. Why do you think Matt Hardy turned down WWE's offer? Because he knows that in promotions like ROH he wont be held down and he will be allowed to wrestle however he wants and not hold back.

And yes, Jeff Hardy is a great character, but as far as wrestling he still hasnt quite grasped it. He's not a natural. Every move he tries to do, from an irish whip to a simple punch, seems forced. He is an OK for his spots, but that is all he's good for really. If you see Jeff Hardy wrestle a 30 minute...hell, even a 20 minute match without tables and ladders, then and only then will my mind change.

Low Ki can't be as good as RVD or Bret Hart... what is he a high flyer? Does he do Kurt Angle mat wrestling moves? Or is he like that Super Crazy, Psychosis and Eddy Guerro kinda crap?

Actually, Low Ki is up there with the best of the best wrestlers. He and Benoit could have classics. Him vs. RVD would be off the charts. Wow, who would have thought that there are good wrestlers outside the WWE? Holy crap!

I've got a triple threat from 2003 featuring Cm Punk vs. Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio. I've even got a match between Low Ki and Eddie Guerrero. There are plenty of guys on the indy scene with the skills and experience to go toe to toe with any WWE talent. Hell, some of them will be WWE talent.

Whipping Sean, you are ignorant as fudge when it comes to wrestling. And not even the blissful kind of ignorance. Just the dumb kind. How the hell can you badmouth something you know nothing about? You should maybe stick to watching WWE only, you might not be able to handle ROH. It might be too real for ya!
