I'm going to the ROH debut in Cleveland in October. Who's with me?
I'll try to get front row if I can.

I've never been to a ROH show, so I have one question....

do they have autograph opportunites? Either before or after the shows?

Sometimes they have official autograph sessions..but 9/10 times you can just go up to them after the show and talk to them or get autographs. Indy wrestlers aren't premadonnas like some WWE wrestlers are.

Well if Styles and or Daniels are working the show I want them to sign their TNA figures. I have an impressive collection and would love to add 2 of my favorite current workers to it.

If anyone cares, I have autographed figures (mint on card of course) of:
Bret Hart
Mankind
Jimmy Snuka
Road Warrior Animal
Ted Dibiasie
Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Hillbilly Jim
(these are all from the WWE Classic Superstars line, and some QUITE valuable)
Rob Van Dam
And have Hulk Hogans book autographed.

I consider myself lucky to have met all these guys recently and all were great to meet! Bret especially... such a nice, genuine guy. He and I talked for quite a while.

Why do you think Matt Hardy turned down WWE's offer? Because he knows that in promotions like ROH he wont be held down and he will be allowed to wrestle however he wants and not hold back.

So was that rumor confirmed at all? I saw it a couple of times but I don't remember seeing any confirmation to it.

When the fuck did Kane take off his mask and not wear a top?

I love how they make funny ass contradictions. :lol I can't remeber how many times they said Kane was burned by the Undertaker.
About 2 years back he took off his mask. The burns he saw on his face were supposedly due to psychosomatic delusions.

ROH fans are more awesome than ECW fans. They get all over anyone that isn't legitimate or doesn't care about wrestling, which is why they booed the shit out of Jeff Hardy and Konnan in their first and only ROH matches.

Jeff Hardy is one of the most sluggish, unmotivated wrestlers the WWE has ever pushed, and if you go back and watch his matches, you'll see it if you haven't already. He basically forced himself to wrestle through matches and sloppily pulled out all his signature moves just to get them over with. He doesn't care about wrestling or being in good cardiovascular shape, he just wants money, and the ROH fans knew it.

Konnan, in (what I think was) his first match in a big promotion since WCW, comes to ROH completely out of shape. He gets winded and starts dying for air like a minute into his match, and everything starts going in slow motion. The fans turned on him hard and booed the shit out of his shitty performance, so Konnan gets on the mic and barely gasps out some words that just draw more boos. The match seems to never end, and the boos don't end either, until finally Konnan is done and looks like he's about to die.

Cant make it to that one but I'll be in Dayton next month if you wanna drive down. I actually have an extra front row ticket.

If its a big star(Foley, Steamboat, Liger, Heenan, or Cornette) they usually have an autograph table. But the thing is you have to buy something from ROH to have them sign usually. Which is kinda shitty. I've never bothered though cuz I hate standing in lines. But for the regular guys most of them hang out and talk to the fans after the show.

Every now and again a guy from the ROH forums named GregH throws fan gatherings(sometimes pre show somtimes post) and gets a bunch of the wrestlers and ROH staff to come. I went to the one in Chicago back in Febuary but didnt talk to any of the wrestlers. Though I did sit at the opposite end of the table as CM Punk. I also saw Jack Evans give up his original ride to the show so a kid who flew over from the UK could get there. Sadly Greg didnteven get to go after he spent all the time and money to set it up. So I hear he might be doing it again next month.

Appreciate the offer, but I can't make Dayton.
But I'll have to sign up with the ROH forums and get acquanted with the people there. Hopefully by the time the Cleveland show comes around there could be some type of autograph session. I know PWInsider is based out of cleveland, maybe i could drop them an email and suggest possibly setting something up.

I'm really looking forward to going. Ever since the X3 Wrestling debacle (if you want to know, just ask) down here, NE Ohio can't get a sniff of indy wrestling. It's a shame, Canton has hosted WWF and WCW Nitro shows and ow we can't even get a decent draw out of an indy fed.

Jeff was dumb for going there. Maybe it was a case of ROH just offering him a payday he couldn't turn down. He hated wrestling at the time, he was burnt out. That is not a crime, but be honest about it and not take money if you know your heart isn't in it. I think that initially Jeff was really motivated and loved wrestling, but then the WWE machine kind of took the steam out of his sails. Actually the last good wrestling Jeff did was the 2 hardcore matches with RVD. Some really good stuff. Not sure how Jeff is now. Maybe he could "get his smile back".

A very entertaining Raw, The Hardy stuff was cool to watch. So far it's been done well let's hope they continue to handle it the way they have. Also Jericho Vs. Wahlberg anyone else completely agree with what Jericho was saying..I like the part about how he disgraces the legacy of the title by even having it..Jericho was telling it like it was and the fans were booing... go figure. And no HHH (is he on vacation) and all of a sudden Raw is entertainign again, coincidence?

The writers feel he's been overexposed (gee you think!?). So they're not writing him into the storyline for some time. I feel he'll be back after Summerslam.

You should go! You wont be dissapointed. Mattitude vs the Fallen Angel might be one of Matts best matches to date.

Well it's confirmed, Matt will NOT be working TNA this weekend.(No shit, I know...) They are unsure how long they will let Matt work NON-WWE shows to keep up the "loose canon" gimmick.

CM Punk vs James Gibson(Jamie Noble for those who dont know) should aslo be great. But the match I'm looking forward to most is Austin Aries vs the worlds most generic luchadore EL Generico!

Looks like Hassan is finished:

UPN sent WWE a letter this afternoon informing that that they didn't want the Hassan character to be on this week's show due to the negative publicity as of late.

WWE had planned on giving the character a makeover on tonight's show.

I would have him come out briefly and get OBLITERATED by The Undertaker, and then keep him off TV until the Matt Hardy vs Edge feud has run its course on Raw, and trade Matt Hardy to SD for Hassan w/Davari. This way the WWE wouldn't have to kill one if its most promising up and coming wrestler's uber-over gimmick, and at the same time could avoid some serious backstage/locker room controversy that could arise if Hardy,Edge, and Lita remain on the same roster for a good period of time.

I agree except trade Edge to Smackdown

All they have to do is have Bischoff say that he got Hassan back from Smackdown through a trade in which he had to give up some no name talent because UPN wouldn't allow Hassan to be shown on Smackdown, but anything goes on RAW/Spike TV/(USA)! That way you can continue the big press Hassan is getting AND you can have that no name talent traded be given a huge underdog role (he can be an OVW guy that was going to get called up anyway) and turn out to be a great wrestler. Two storylines, continued press, etc.

But they'll probably just have Hassan come out as Joshua White, Kerwin's long lost brother.

Eugene's father

When did the wwe creative team find thier talent...it has been so long since a wwe storyline has been this surprising and entertaing. The little touches like the announce team not mentioning matt's attack backstage and his subsequent appearance in-ring also add to the impact of the angle.

Now all we need is matt to recruit shannon moore is his crusade.

Brian Gerwitz has be moved over to WWE Films and no longer the lead writer and no longer big influence on the creative side of RAW!

(Happy days!!)
