It's the last RAW before Summerslam, and here's a preview of the show.

Eric Bischoff has tried to injure John Cena and wrest away the WWE Championship week after week. Tonight, things only get more difficult for The Champ as he must face both Chris Jericho and Carlito in a Handicap Match. Will Cena find a way to win again? More importantly, will he have anything left for his WWE Championship Match against Y2J at SummerSlam?

After their confrontation last week, the immortal Hulk Hogan will battle Kurt Angle on RAW. Both Superstars have SummerSlam matches in their future, but neither can afford to overlook Monday’s opponent. Kurt will attempt to take out his frustration on The Hulkster before getting his hands on Eugene at the pay-per-view on Aug. 21. And Hogan will undoubtedly be sending a message to HBK with every move he makes. Don’t miss this special RAW match.

After weeks of strutting their stuff, the 2005 RAW Diva Search will come to an end tonight. Last year’s winner Christy Hemme has been on a wild ride — from WrestleMania 21 to the sizzling beaches of Mexico to a Playboy Magazine cover shoot. Which hopeful will you vote into a spot as RAW’s newest Diva? Tune in tonight (9/8 CT; Spike TV) to find out.
 
Best thing about tonight.. the god-awful Diva search comes to a conclusion.

Oh, and we get to watch Angle carry grandpa Hogan on his back for the whole match.

I'm sorry, Angle/Eugene is the Summerslam match and Angle/Hulk is the RAW match?

Well that just seems dumb. I know Hogan sucks and all, but I'd hate to be Angle and stuck with Eugene for the second biggest PPV of the year.....
 
Hometown raw tonight AND I CAN'T WATCH IT. I live 1 FREAKING block from the bell center too. This sucks.

It looks as if Trish is coming back tonight as Matt's new girlfriend (I don’t think the fans will go with this one)
 
The last Raw before SummerSlam so I expect them to hype the hell out of it. Or maybe not.

I live an hour from Montreal and I was waiting for this show so I could attend it. Too bad I couldn't make it.

For those wondering about the status of Triple H and WWE, he is currently working behind the scenes and still does attend both RAW and SmackDown! on a weekly basis. With Vince and Linda getting older, Triple H is basically being groomed to head up the company with Stephanie once they 'retire'. Triple H's name is also now on the format sheets indicating that he is a writer and a major force in the creative team. He had been working with creative but it was never publicized to any of the workers that he was a writer.

Triple H has also been at Titan Towers in Stamford, CT while TV tapings are not in progress. He is getting a more hands on look at the business standpoint of WWE. As of this time, he is not expected to return until the return of RAW to the USA Network.

But how will he work himself getting titles matches into the stories?

In reality he has been booking the show with Steph for years now. I mean, he has taken himself off TV on his own. He has been off for along time as well. I doubt much will change. BUT, you know this Diva shit is all Vince. Hopefully HHH will bring the WWE back towards WRESTLING again. We can only hope. I try to be positive, lol.

Basically, HBK comes out, bashes Bret and Hogan, brags about screwing bret and that he's gonna screw hogan. Crowd chants "You screwed bret!" and "we want bret!" and HBK plays off of them. HBK sits down and after about 15 seconds says "Now that you know who's in charge around here, let's continue." he continues his jabs at Bret. HBK talks about what he'd do if bret were to show up at RAW. Bret's music plays, HBK acts shocked with a look of fear on his face, but bret doesn't come out. HBK laughs at the crowd and says that Hart will never be seen or heard in a WWE ring again. Then he starts jabbing at hogan. Hogan's music plays, HBK throws a fit, crowd cheers, but hogan doesn't come out. Again, HBK laughs at the crowd and calls them stupid for falling for it twice. The crowd is PISSED at HBK, and chants "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" for about 30 seconds and the WWE guys in the back mute the sound at every "fuck." HBK plays off of this too, talking about the bad language and stuff. He finishes up the promo and leaves.

He completely owned the crowd. :lol

AWESOME !!!! Shawn is at his absolute best as a heel......Also now Im 85% sure Brets coming back in some form or capacity at Summerslam
 
and I'd like to correct something. HBK sat down and just waited when the crowd started chanting "Na na na na hey hey hey goodbye!" signifying that they wanted him to leave.

Angle kicked ass. Holy shit.
