In the pillar rooms AFTER the underwater sphinx and scrab puzzle, I can climb the first pillar on the right and go to top of the crevice. However, from there, I can't seem to make the jump to the second pillar, Laura keeps jumping towards the either side of the pillar and won't jump to the second pillar itself.
Any tips?

Avalon said:Sound cracking/popping on the title screen, cutscenes. Pretty big issue with the PC version of Legends. I remember being able to fix it by lowering/turning off hardware acceleration, but that gave some really bad latency.
Rekki-Maru said:i'll be buying the 360 version too, maybe even the Legend/Anni combo meal if it ever comes out.
Midna said:I had read that the sound issues were due to a certain type of Logitech speakers. There's a post on Gamefaqs (sorry) on it.

Was the game announced for the 360?!
I know is coming to Wii, and apparently is going to be really good...but I haven't heard anything of a 360 version...
Avalon said:Do you have a link?
Nevermind. It's the same exact problem they never addressed from Legends. Only way to clear it up is to turn down hardware acceleration, but that causes problems as well. ****, I really wanted to play this game.
Midna said:Did you find the topic on Gamefaqs then? Yeah it seems that is the only solution. Do you have the speakers in question? Maybe you could return them or invest in a new set.
Edit: Or is it the sound card that is the problem.
Cafeman said:I'm playing on PS2. What a great update of the original (and still best) Tomb Raider. I only faintly remember many scenes, and each level I get the same "aha!" memory as I recognize the update.
For example, the raising and lowering of the water puzzle; the dinosaurs in Lost Valley; the fire pillars over water; the Egyptian mummy things; thethat you fight.CentaursI really enjoyed figuring out the twin Centaur boss battle. I died at least 10 times -- usually frozen then kicked into tiny Lara-splinters -- before I realized you could grapple the shields off them.
I'm up to the Obelist of Khamoon (I think thats the name) now. Enough Egypt for one day, I'll beat it later on, need a break. These levels are huge at times.
It's fully confirmed as coming to the 360 as DLC and as a retail disc within a few months after that.eshwaaz said:There's been no official announcement as far as I know; just this listing on the ESRB's website that suggests it will be offered as downloadable content for 360:

Looks pretty awesome. I haven't purchased a Tomb Raider game in a LONG time, but this seems to be something I can get into.
A Wii port with effort?

Gribbix said:The most appealing difference to me is that the lock-on combat system from the PS2/PC version has been replaced with a manual aiming system using the wiimote. Also, the lighting appears to have been majorly altered in some areas (there weren't any pitch black areas in the PS2/PC version). It was obviously done to make use of the added flashlight which can have its beam focus altered by twisting the wiimote left or right. It's also good to see that they've heavily altered some of the puzzles. Hopefully they don't go overboard with wii gesture stuff. The only other concern I have is how they'll handle camera controls.
Fusebox said:Just started playing this on the PSP, I can't believe how good the graphics and sound are but I decided to start in Croft Manor and got stuck fairly early. How do I open that freakin door??
Strider2K99 said:So, any impressions for the 360 version for those who have it? I was thinking of buying it and I was wondering how was the port job.

Also, Tomb Raider Anniversary is pretty cool. But I hate when you're walking through a dark hallway and then HOLY FUCK A GORILLA OMG!!!!
