Why bother? They'd only get rejected at this point.SapientWolf said:When is G.Rev going to start investing in XBLA? Zero Gunner 2 and Under Defeat would be great additions to the XBLA shooter line-up.

-Theme and setting of Zuma
-A bit of Tetris
-A bit of Lumines
It is a decent puzzle game for 10 bucks.

Number of released XBLA games: 122 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Xbox_Live_Arcade_games#Released_games)
Number of high quality, original XBLA games: 10
Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved
Catan
Carcassonne
GripShift
Omega Five
UNO
Undertow
Switchball
Assault Heroes
Poker Smash
There are other really good games, like Puzzle Quest and Rez - but I'm not counting them because they're ports, and the rest are mostly rubbish.
So 8% of XBLA games are original and high quality. 5% if you count boardgames and Uno as unoriginal. Fair assessment?

I actually have to (yet again) admit that my initial impressions were off. The game only starts out slow and boring, but once you unlock some good pieces (H-shape!) and power-ups (wildcard!), the game really kicks it up and starts getting really fun. I've still yet to see how it holds up in the long run, but it definitely gets really good pretty fast.FirstInHell said:TiQal is not as bad as everyone is saying. Basically you have:

Chiaroscuro said:Personally I will wait (check the demo if it is great than maybe). At 1200 pts it would have been a sure buy for me.
Brakara said:Isn't it also worth considering how much content the episode has? For that price I expect to see the episode twice as long as a Sam & Max episode. If it's shorter than that, then I would consider the price to be a tad steep. If not, then the price seems fair.
Chiaroscuro said:Yes, but how the general audience would value the content based only on a demo?
SpeedRazor said:I just ordered two 4000 point cards from Buy.com for $37.99 each shipped, so I should be set for a little while.
monoRAIL said:eg crap like Lost gets favored over gems like Firefly, because it appeals to the lowest common denominator. And so crap like Frogger will sell more than Space Giraffe, because joe public recognizes Frogger.
Brakara said:I don't really care about the "general audience" (that's why I didn't quote your whole post), so I for one will lean on those old-fashioned reviews (and forum impressions) for that information. So if I like the demo and the content is there, I'm certainly not going to hesitate to buy the game.
By that logic, Gripshift and Switchball shouldn't be on that list either.monoRAIL said:Number of high quality, original XBLA games: 10
