Anyone still have a 4000 points card they got from that guy that's willing to sell it for the same price? I don't have an eBay account and don't want to make one. :P

We can work via PayPal. Let me know!

You don't need a ebay account for his auction :). Just click the paypal button

Adventure mode was a core mode in the DS version. If they cut it out of the XBLA version just to sell it to us, that's bigtime bullshit.

I don't think this is quite the right angle to take, because the DS game would've hit for $20 to $30 (to $40, SE Tax lulz) while the XBLA game is $10.

The right angle to take is to ask why the Steam version gets the adventure mode for free while the XBLA version gets charged extra.

(All that said, I'll pay $15 for Yosumin + adventure mode if this news is true.)

Yeah, I don't have an Ebay account, and got the points just fine through PayPal.

Can anybody recommend the good games that are fun with an arcade stick?
The non fighting arcade stick games I have are:
Metal Slug
R-Type
1942
Ikaruga
N+?
Alien Hominid
Aegis Wing
Puzzle Fighter
Galaga Legions

Thanks. Found it.

Edit: Just bought 8000 points for 60 bucks. So after I do Pay Now, I just wait for his email? Seems weird that it says "your order is being shipped to [my address]".

Made a US account and bought 4000 points. Got Braid, Sam&Max and Banjo-Kazooie all for 22€!(Would have costed me around 40€ if I bought points over here)

Anyone know if the US Fallout 3 DLC works with the PAL version of the game? The Arcade games are probably identical since I didn't even need to re-download them but not sure about DLC.

Uh, is your arcade stick a twin stick? I don't see how you'd be able to play this correctly otherwise.

Any word on Monopoly coming to Family Game Night?

I can't wait to see what happens when they find out this guy was using stolen credit cards to buy codes off Amazon and come to find the people that bought stuff from him.

:D

Bought two of those cheap 4000 point cards off that ebay site about 4 hours ago.

No email.

And now the listing is removed?

Should I be worried?
Same here, I sent him an email. Yes I checked my spam box and I'm even more worried because his eBay account has been closed.

It could be that you're not getting your codes quickly because it is outside his "working hours" which I believe he listed as being until midnight in Germany which is about 5 PM EST.

So let's see. To save a few bucks you guys have been buying points from a dude who has had multiple ebay auctions closed, the emails he sends to you go to your spam email boxes, and has now just had his ebay account closed.

Let's ignore the fact that he's now got a handy list of email addresses bound to paypal accounts. But the risk involved - for instance if he is building up customer trust and client-el numbers so that eventually he decides to just rake in the cash and not send anything back and skip town - is high.

You all worry to much...After doing something :lol

Honestly if you were worried in the first place, What you should of done was set up a separate Paypal account, Transfer money over from your primary one to this one. And use this one to purchase the codes. Register the account in your spam email account also.

But that is beside the point, Because you already committed.:lol

They're buying what are very likely stolen codes. I don't think they care about anything but getting a bargain.

I've bought 5 4000 chunks from him and everything was smooth, It did take awile to get some emails from him tho.

Oh crap.. I thought I hadn't received my code.. But he send it 3 minutes after I paid for it :lol .

Dude is fast. crap

I'm thinking of buying some points from him, do you guy communicate from ebay or just straight from his email? Is he even selling them anymore?

So bargain hunting on ebay is illegal? No one knows how the guy got the codes, could be a store going out of business or some shit. No legal action could ever be taken against the consumer buying product on a website that is entirely legal, it's the sites job to monitor it.

Okay I just bought a Xbox 360 and now I want to catch up on Arcade games.

If I were to get a 4000 point card what should my first batch of games be?

Of course it depends on the genres you're interested in, but my choices would be:

Street Fighter 2: HD Remix
Rez: HD
Castle Crashers
Portal: Still Alive (If you haven't played on PC/Orange Box)
Braid

Geometry Wars 2

Bionic Commando Rearmed

There is tons of awesome retro stuff there too if you're looking to fill some holes in your gamer vocab like Symphony of the Night & Gunstar Heroes.

Castle Crashers and Rez HD are must-buys.

Depends on what you like

Also noting, SFII HD Remix is 800 points this week, So I'd definitely pick that up if your into it. (Don't own it myself...More of a Garou fan :lol)

Anyways some solid choices

Ikaruga/Omega 5, both are Shmups, I'd go with Omega 5 thought if your not too hard core into them. Its much easier than most, But is still extremely well done.
Castlevania SOTN, speaks for itself
Peggle, This is more casual, but its so awesome
SFII HD Remix, its 800points this week.
Duke Nukem, Aged much better than the others in my opinion. I tried it out recently again and still love it
Castle Crasher, Speaks for itself, XBLA number 1 game
Uno, Everyone needs a copy. It has awesome online player :lol
Geo Wars II, Best Twin stick out there
Rez HD, as many said, It is awesome

I want Monopoly for Family Game Night, damn it!!

BattleShip is awesome, but it's not enough to re-live my childhood! :lol
