Sorry guys, I can't comment on Arcade related things for the forseeable future.

LakeEarth said:I bought Geometry Wars, the game is twice as fun with acheivements to earn. Not only does it set you a solid goal, but there is one challenge "passive" where you have to not die during the first minute without shooting a single bullet. Getting that one was SO MUCH FUN! I hope most games have more challenges like that, but mostly all I've seen has been "beat this stage" and "collect this many points". More crazy challenges!
And crazy doable, not Hexic HD's "random fucking luck if you can set this up" crazy.
Sorry about that Jesiatha, hope you didn't get in trouble.Jesiatha said:Sorry guys, I can't comment on Arcade related things for the forseeable future.
Survive. Have a very itchy R trigger finger because that that thing will save your life time and time again. Survive as long as you can to continually build and build your multipliers, so eventually you're getting a new free man every 30 seconds or so. At 7x, those round "vortex" things give almost 10000 points if you destroy them when they are about to explode. Keep moving and never ever EVER lose track of your little guy. If you do, just bomb it. Now don't overdo the bombing, only when you're about to die no question. Or if you see a million purple box things show up at the same time and surround you, those things kill me the most. When you get surrounded, drill a hole in it and sneak through it cause if you get too surrounded you die, but you can't stay near the sides because that's where most things spawn. Its a balancing act really.VALIS said:LakeEarth, how in the bloody hell did you get 1.1 million in Geometry Wars?! My best is 150,000. Yikes. Share some tips!

YES, I've got a game waiting for a partner right now.iceDragon7 said:Anyone down for some Co-op Smash-Tv?

LakeEarth said:Sorry I didn't accept you in time. We'll play another day.
So did anyone figure out why Smash TV kicks you out of co-op every while? Is there a set amount of continues it doesn't display? I can't get passed the second level because of it.
LakeEarth said:Yeah that's my best guess. Looks like the "co-op master" statue is beyond my grasp.
LakeEarth said:I'm not good at Smash TV, and the room before the final boss literally goes for 10 minutes of constant attacks.
LakeEarth said:My only problem with the game is how the gun randomly changes. They both have their advantages, but sometimes you're relying on the one type of gun when it suddenly changes randomly to the other. When you have your multiplier up to 7x or 8x, that thing is like switching every 10 seconds and it gets annoying. I love it otherwise.

Actually I didn't either. I was actually bored by the 10 minute round that I just let myself die and continually run into people with the shield, die and repeat. Up until the boss, of course. I honestly didn't care about my score when I got it, sorry to tell youiceDragon7 said:Thanks for reminding me. I gotta do that myself.
LakeEarth! I could've beat your Hight score in Smash TV if I hadn't missed the Paradise round or whatever its called. I accidently went straight to the Boss instead of down.
=(
Of course. I haven't tried it, but I figure you just hit start on the second controller.dorio said:Can you play SmashTV coop offline?
Nikashi said:Is it just me or is the Smash TV score shown just what you get on your first credit? I finished the Pleasure Dome round and I still have a tiny score.
The score that gets placed on the leaderboards is based on default settings, with one credit. So, if you use up all your lives and continue, the score you had when you died is basically your high score for Live.Nikashi said:Is it just me or is the Smash TV score shown just what you get on your first credit? You can keep playing as long as you want since you have unlimited continues, your score just won't be eligible for the leaderboard. Also, the achievements for the game can still be unlocked if you use more than one continue.

Deathtanx....where are you? =/
EDIT - I'd pay 2,000 M$ points for DeathTanx than pay 1,200 for a crappy ver. of Billiards.
ColdBlooded33 said:Id pay upwards of $20 for 8 player Deathtank, just like on the saturn.
Seriously i would....
Atleast put Texas Hold Em', or is that already on there?
Yeah, I'd like to know this too.IAQM said:How do you turn on Live Alerts, I just can't find it in the menu.
