I'm finally part of the 1.000.000+ club at Geometry Wars. No one cares, but it feels so good.
And it only took me 9 months !
And I also beat the living shit out of all my Gaffer friends at this game. It's a nice bonus.

It might just very well be barring a delay.

Has Sensi soccer been reviewed yet? I thought I remembered seeing one a while back. I'm thinking of getting it, but between Bioshock, MNG5, Puzzle Fighter, etc. I may just let it fall through the cracks unless it's really a standout update. Been a long while since I last played Sensi.

Not by anybody online, XBLA stuff doesn't get reviewed till it is released.

Impossible achievements rule. Even though I may never get some of them (or any of them), it's a good excuse to keep me playing.
I agree.

So I've got Geometry Wars and SOTN. I'm going to get Puzzle Fighter when it comes out. I'm probably going to get Uno and Pac-Man CE. God, XBLA rules.

Edit: Oops, I forgot I posted in here already.

Strange, I can remember a Track and Field review coming out well before the release. Meh, guess I'll just wait for impressions. Puzzle Fighter is the only upcoming instabuy anyway.

Am I crazy? What in the hell is compelling about track and field and why are people playing it so much?

It's a fun game. And, unlike most 80s retro titles, the basic gameplay still holds up.

I do hope that the superior Epyx games will be coming to XBLA though.

Yea, you missed that, I posted that a couple of days ago.

Also, coldvein has not been formally announced for XBLA though Final Doom appeared on the ESRB rating service ahwile back.

Right, this site Warworld.net is reporting that Ubi Soft and Third Wave's War World shall be the second game to be released this week along with Super Puzzle Fighter II HD Remix, which means unless Microsoft pulls off the first ever three game week or something Sensi has been delayed, not really surprised if that is the case as XBLA games all too often slip down.

More details on Penny Arcade Adventures.

First, Gamespot reports that Vlad Ceraldi (president, Hothead Games) mentioned that the game was coming to a "next-gen platform." Assuming he did not misspeak, one could extrapolate that PA: OTRSPODEO will only be coming to one next-gen platform, the Xbox 360. And thus, will it would be an XBLA console exclusive.

Next, Gamespot reports that "the series would be available for download from Xbox Live Marketplace as episodes are released." (Emphasis added.) Sounds to me like we won't have to wait after all. If this holds true, we'll be playing this game couch-potato-style before the end of the year.

And finally, the game will arrive at "under $20".

penny arcade. i'm sure they do real well with t-shirts and whatever other merchandise they sell on their website but xbla i think was a really good test of their mainstream exposure.

Street Trace: NYC didn't even make it to the 10 in its first week.
Hoverboard games never get the attention they deserve really.

Airblade, Trickstyle, and Streak are 3 of my all time favourite games... so it's fitting for me to enjoy Street Trace as well. Mind you, not as much as the ones I just mentioned. The lack of tracks seriously kills this games replay value, I mean 3 race tracks? Come on.

Eh oh well, it is a $10 game after all.

Finally beat Archway in Soltrio Solitaire - what a pain. Pure luck until you manage to clear a column. Only achievement left is the 1000 wins one, but that shouldn't be too hard with Grandfather Clock if I do about 50 a day.

Which is faster? Memory or Grandfather Clock?

Any tips for beating archway? I tried it for like a week then just gave up. Is it constant reshuffling till you get something that looks halfway doable? No low kings or aces was it? Also, you don't want two of the same card trapped up high I thought.

There are going to be a lot of disappointed SWOS fans.

Not to mention the two people who were hoping for War World this week, still, never be surprised when a XBLA game falls behind.

Anyone have a general idea when Every Extend Extra Extreme is due out? EDIT: answered on the last post of the last page DOH! Thanks Shard! :)

Now that the almighty Space Giraffe has been released, my new most wanted list looks like this:

1. EEEE
2. Mutant Storm Empire
3. Castle Crashers
4. GEON: Emotions

Not that it really matters what order to rank them in; the beauty of it all is the games are so inexpensive. Love my Arcade games!

HUDSON ANNOUNCES BOMB-UP ADD-ON PACK FOR BOMBERMAN LIVE
Hudson Increases the Payload with New Content and Game Modes

REDWOOD SHORES, CA - August 27, 2007 - Hudson Entertainment, the North American publishing arm for Hudson Soft, today announced that they are releasing Bomb-Up Pack 1, the first add-on pack for their "IGN Editor's Choice Award"-winning Bomberman LIVE game for Xbox LIVE(R) Arcade. This new add-on pack will add over a dozen new features, including ten new characters, two additional levels, two new leader boards, and a brand new game mode. Bomb-Up Pack 1 is expected to launch on August 29 and will cost 350 Microsoft Points ($2.80).

With these add-ons, players will be able to further enjoy the frantic, explosive action of Bomberman LIVE in new areas, including "High Stakes," a Las Vegas-style casino level, and "Zeppelin," a level set aboard a dirigible which features tornado environmental hazards that incapacitate players.

"With the overwhelming success of Bomberman LIVE it became clear to us, as Bomberman fans and game producers, that the already stellar game could be indefinitely augmented with myriad gameplay additions in the future," said John Greiner, President and CEO of Hudson Entertainment. "Hudson is committed to providing refreshingly competitive, fast-paced multiplayer gameplay over Xbox LIVE(R) Arcade."

This Bomberman LIVE add-on pack will add the following features:

Ten New Characters - With new characters like "Little Bomby Foo Foo" the bunny and "Rocky Bomboa" the boxer, players can customize their in-game Bomberman in countless new ways.

Two Additional Levels - New arenas include "High Stakes," a Las Vegas-style casino level that allows players to select any gimmick they want, and "Zeppelin," a level set aboard a dirigible which features tornado environmental hazards that incapacitate players.

One New Game Mode - "Frag" mode will allow players to pre-set the number of enemies they must bomb in order to win the game.

The price seems to be wrong though.
