This is an interesting approach by MS to prevent games from being released "unfinished" only to patch them later. If they only give you one "free" patch then you would hope that the devs would want to make sure that the first one is right... not that they aren't doing that anyways, but some seem less concerned with this.As a fall back MS do allow you to do Title Updates but beware if you do more than one Title Update MS may well ask you to cover the certification cost if it includes executable data.
It's 250 MS Points instead of 350, according to John Lee from Hudson.Kaijima said:While 350 pts might seem to be a buck too much for the content, I'll pay it just out of respect for how damn good Bomberman Live is. It's worth it to support the expansion of the thing.

Their pledges mean nothing. For example, the X06 XBLA montage included Heavy Weapon (Jan 2007), Gyruss (Apr 2007), Catan (May 2007), Carcassonne (Jun 2007), as well as Mutant Storm Empire and Alhambra which are both still waiting for release. Oh and lets not forget the game they explicitly listed as "coming early 2007" - Sensible Soccer.Shard said:Well, yes for now, Microsoft did pledge that E4 would be out before the end of the year. (E3 XBLA Montage all games for 2007)

These kind of achievements are stupid and annoying, let alone in retail games.Shard said:5,000 kills total - Online Ranked
I actually tried the demo and thought about getting the full version. I'll do it now.Rlan said:Pac Man CE cannot be recommended enough, but do try it out first.

"all-too-simple bombing dynamic" :lolign said:but what about the bombs that games of this sort seem to always have? Well, fate would have it that the bombs in Space Giraffe are actually the simplest dynamic of them all. Basically you start each stage with a bomb (represented by a long tail stemming off of your character). Use it or don't, you get one per stage. It's that easy....The real problem with Space Giraffe isn't with its confusing jump pod mechanic that the tutorial does a terrible job of explaining, or its all-too-simple bombing dynamic

CrapSandwich said:Space Giraffe might be the best game on XBLA. What I mean is that 5 or 10 years from now, it will be one of the 2 or 3 XBLA games that I remember as great games. If I could only have one XBLA game, it'd either be SG or Geo Wars. Kind of a shame that the design is such that many people just won't get it, or won't try to get it. It's absolutely a hard game to recommend, but so are a lot of great movies, music, or food, or whatever. That professional reviewers are having trouble with it isn't surprising, but the reviewer is supposed to be the guy with his nose in the air who appreciates games that aren't easy to get. Not that I like the guy with his nose in the air, but I'd prefer that guy to the shit brained little jerks that pass themselves off as critics.

It's been confirmed over at the War World forums that the Xbox 360 version of the Ubisoft and Third Wave video game will be available on August 30. Players can get the game via download in the Xbox Live Marketplace.
In line with the launch, a PC version celebration match will be hosted online for an hour in the UK and in Australia by the game's creators, Third Wave Games.
Everyone is invited to join the friendly matches which will include some of the community's stalwart players. They'll all be there within an hour of the match's start, so you better come prepared.
Matches in support of the Xbox Live release will also be held. Warworld.net promises that at least 8 players will be right there once the game opens up for download, ready to get the ball rolling.
I'm only at about level 60, but I haven't found anything like that. The game is meant to be hard to begin with, and you're supposed to learn strategies and play using the audio cues.Phthisis said:As much as I love Space Giraffe, to be fair: the game has some incredibly retarded design decisions that just totally ruin certain things.

Right, you may or may not remember the news that a plan was hatched to bring a racing game based around the Toyota Yaris to the XBLA, well, almost a year aftert this news was brought to the fore, new details are beginning to emerge.
