It depends on which company you're dealing with, but yeah, most of the time you'll be charged when your item ships. Give or take a few hours/a day for confirmation from the shipper.

Also, if you use a card online it takes a few for it to show up on most online banking systems.

For example using my debit card as credit (not using my pin) requires 2-3 days processing by most major places, which means it wont show up on my online banking until those days have passed

alright, going to wait then

my bank's computers fucked up when I was trying to deposit $10 yesterday (out of 20) and after 2 or 3 tries the teller got it to work...check my account today and I have +$50 in there....but I don't want to fuck up my orders

maybe posting this on a public forum isn't the best idea...oh well
