"Oh my God, I just shot myself! I just got my concealed and carry."

There are numerous stories of police officers shooting themselves, too. Unfortunately, training is only useful if people actually respect the power of a firearm. I live in a state that allows people to obtain concealed carry permits fairly easily and I havnt heard of any issues yet, but it is completely illegal to even own a switchblade. It makes no sense. I would like to get a Ruger LCP or SR1911 someday, but I wouldn't carry it with me.

Glad that we can now be protected by these untrained concealed carry citizens! Y'all are doing gods work!

Seriously though, no training required? My eyes fell out of my skull reading that. Disgusting

So USA recently changed laws to get guns with zero training? Amazing.

This is Kansas who recently made this change. The board of regents is also going to make it completely legal to have guns on any public college campus by 2017 so we will see how well those laws work together.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I wish that bullet had non-fatally shot someone. I actually really wish these morons had more and more accidental misfires in public like this. They need to become an utter laughing stock and embarrassment to the country, so they might take a moment and reflect on their stupidity.

But lol, I'm the stupid one for thinking they actually have the capacity to self-reflect...

Wouldn't have happened if the man's leg had had a gun.

So in America some idiot standing or sitting beside you could be be firing his gun accidentally at any moment. Good to know.

Here in St Petersburg last year sometime there was a lady in Starbucks who had a gun in her purse and when she put her purse down her gun went off and shot her friend behind her in line in the leg.

Link just in case

So what happens now, does that guy get his gun taken away? Please tell me he isn't allowed to carry a gun in public anymore because he's that careless with it.

The couple said they support the state's current law which went into effect July 1, allowing gun owners to conceal and carry without requiring any training or having a permit.
dafuk

You need training to use cars and certain kinds of power tools. But guns? Nah, just pick one up and off you go.

So Kansas is fucking stupid and so are many of its residents. Got it.

Can't even imagine sitting in a cinema wondering if the guy next to you has a gun.

American gun laws are a joke.

What do you even need the gun for in public places that are not a shooting range or something like that.

Were those really his exact words? Learn to speak 'Murican, moran.

Guy was probably stroking his gun through his jacket, fantasizing about an 'active shooter' incident unfolding in that theatre and his chance to become a real hero by firing his tool of justice at muzzle flashes in a dark room.

Every time I see this, I cringe so fucking hard. I can't stand this shit, and I don't care if you're trained or not, this shouldn't be a thing.

And this is the society the NRA wants for America.

IT IS MY GOD DAMNED RIGHT YOU HIPPY LIBERAL!!

Seriously, when I think of Kentucky I first thing of intelligent and well balanced. A perfect place for not needing permits and education.

KS is Kansas.

OT: Would this really be the person you want to return fire in a dark theater or you know...sitting near you at all.
