My prediction for DMC4 is it'll be a let down people wont be happy with Nero as the lead for most of the game and they'll bitch and complain about it. Then in DMC5 Dante will be back full time and it will be a PS3 exclusive a real exclusive this time tho because the PS3 will have a higher installed base by then.

Any chance of DMC being good on the PS3 is gone now that will be gimped down to 360 standards. Good thing I don't buy Capcom games.

Sony has 150 'first party' games in development. For each DMC4 that gets goes multiplatform, there are probably 20 exclusives that are just as big.

Handwriting's been on the wall for awhile. Sales aren't good enough to keep these games on the PlayStation 3 only and with no ability to lower the price, it probably gets a lot worse before it gets better.

Maybe. But don't bet on GTA to be a series "on the decline". If there is one type of game that can always renew itself at each generation it is a sandbox type of game.

Maybe Square drops PS3 and the game goes to PS2 and to the Wii. I don't see a mainline FF or DQ going to the 360. I can see Capcom and Konami with big action titles, but the usual S/E or Japanese RPG fan is not a usual 360 demographic.

Like someone else said, this all depends on Blue Dragon and Lost Oddyssey. If they do extremely well here, FFXIII will come to 360.

It's just because people are overreacting on the spot but after a while they realise their super news doesn't change much shit in their lives.

The idea GTA4 would launch on the 360 first (before they said it woulb simultaneous) was supposed to change the game from A to Z... It doesn't seem to matter right now, the dust is back on the ground. Same phenomenon will happen with that DMC4 news. It's the end of the world now and suddenly it won't matter for shit in a couple of months.
And for those seeing Home and LBP as the second coming of the Christ, i hope they didn't think it would make the PS3 sell now... People will see their influence in sales during Christmas 2007 and through 2008.

Next GAF disappoinmenton + Sony bashing is March NPD when they will realise that Home will matter in 2008.
