(OH SHIZNITS) Devil May Cry 4 confirmed multiplatform PS3/360/PC

This colossal shift towards multiplatform releases by 3rd party companies is really going to **** Sony over unless they can drop that ridiculous price.
 
I bought the first DMC. Loved it for a while. Then I discovered that the game was damn hard and I sucked at it. I slugged on for a while. Stopped playing for a few months. Tried again - I still sucked. Traded it in with a few other games for something else. I haven't bought a DMC game since.

That's not to say the game isn't populer - it obviously is. I just royally suck at it, and it completely destroyed the experience.

I have to say one thing: Sony and MS seem to be following Nintendo's lead and are pouring money into their first party games. Although at this stage, Sony's first party is leagues better than MS.

Second party games are also much more important it seems. Here again I think Sony is ahead.

Third party games will most probably never push systems as much as as the first or second party games, so putting them on every platform should be fairly easy.

Third party stuff is where it belongs now - on every system. Here's hoping the exclusive third party games on the 360 go multi-platform too.

Man I hate you Capcom, why would you betray Sony like that? The game was not to good though.(that's the PS forums way of putting it) I didn't plan on buying it. But what a stupid back stabbing company.

wow, its almost like developers are sabotaging the hype for the ps3 before the european launch, if the ace combat 6 thing is true too that is, just wow.
 
Wow, this thread has been greatly amusing, especially since DMC was never a franchise I cared for, so I don't care where it goes.

My lunch is in 15 minutes though, so I've had to watch this without popcorn. :lol

this is such a loss for DMC fan's..... exclusive titles are pretty much always better than multi platform titles. What a shame on capcom, they took the bait...
 
Now MS might focus on competing with Nintendo. Hopefully will make Nintendo a bit more aggressive.

Surprising they would not wait a week till after the Euro launch. But maybe there is something there...

It sucks that we can't get Dead Rising and Lost Planet. I mean what the ****? Did MS publish those games?

Are you saying MS made this happen on purpose right before the EU PS3 launch?
 
I sense some moneyhats coming, one one if not both sides. This probably can't keep up for much longer. Unless we are going to hear about some awesome first party stuff soon.
