Honestly, who really gives a damn about Sony's first party?? The PS brand was built on big third party exclusives and GT. You lose that, and you lose your audience.

Sony simply deserves to fail, offering a $599 console that is hardly any better than the one $200 cheaper is absurd.

Thats it. I'm THIS CLOSE to trading in my PS3. I don't care about my G.A.P. status since it does NOTHING, they simply do NOT listen to their fans. I don't care about playing Resistance anymore since i cant even talk to people from my xmb buddy list. I cant even freaking download videos and play games at the same time. Sony ****ed up too hard this time, they cant even keep a staple PLAYSTATION game like Devil May Cry on their system because the system itself ISN'T SELLING...and I am done. This is a total meltdown for me so please don't ban me or think that i am trolling. I'm finished with this. It's really annoying to think about the money i wasted on a system that didn't live up to my expectations. When the price goes down to $299 i will consider it. but for now... $599 isn't justifiable whatsoever.

Exclusive games, Sony, gives me reasons to buy your system.

Thing is, as long as the PS3 has the majority of the support from Square and other eastern RPG makers I pretty much have no choice but to get one. Even if 360 got MGS4 and Tekken tommorow.. the Final Fantasies, Suikodens, Star Oceans, SMTs, Personas, White Knight Stories, Dark Clouds etc.. would still be enough to sell me on a PS3.

As I said earlier, hopefully Blue Dragon and Lost Oddessy do well so more japanese RPG developers will see bringing their games stateside to the 360 as a viable option.

Because it's multi platform, DMC4 will not utilize the motion sensor of the SIXAXIS controller. Capcom will also not strive to fill the Bluray disc with content all in order to compensate for the 360 version. Therefore DMC4 will be 10x less awesome than what it could've been if it were PS3 exclusive.

Plus, all the focus on developing the game to be as good as possible on one specific console will diminish. More resources will be put on developing the 3 versions of the game therefore DMC4 will be 20x less awesome than what it originally could've been.

The only thing that's good about this news is that the DMC series will reach a broader audience which means more fans and more cash for Capcom. It looks like Capcom is enjoying the success of Lost Planet and Dead Rising on the 360 so they decided to let DMC4 join the group.

I also predict a delay of the game till 2008. If it does indeed come out in 2007, the game will probably not be that good.

Yeah, hopefully Lost Odyssey manages to break the Japanese game market, in order to get Konami and Square to reconsider their position. I DON'T want to get a PS3 given how things are going, but as long as MGS4 and FFXIII are PS exclusives, I must.
