i decided to make this tonight just for this thread:



i don't know why i've been in the mood to make more photoshops for the gaming forum lately, but it's been fun

edit: had to edit in the rehosted version (stupid imageshack, your bandwidth allocation sucks!), so all of the posts quoting that stupid yellow frog is the above picture

That's what I got out of it, all next-gen developments will now be multiplatform.

Hey man I'm there day one for at least one of those games (if it happens). I'm still confused over which game is better between Lost Planet and Dead Rising and GAF isn't helping with that choice with 50% of the people telling me that LP is better and the other 50% say DR is better.

I wouldn't count on it, since both games are already old hat, and Capcom will probably want to focus on new properties for both platforms.

However, if sales were to skyrocket over the summer (which is doubtful) then they might think it profitable to bring a port over.

Meh, personally I preferred LP, only played the DR demo though. LP has a terrible story though.

I can't speak for Lost planet but Dead Rising has some sick replayability.

I liked LP, was alot of fun. Only played demo of DR, so cant really say. Demo was boring to me.

I hear ya...playing a game on ps3 pretty much means I have to have the phone nearby if my friends want to talk to me.....they really need to get xmb access during gaming and voice no matter what you are doing.

Dead Rising mckmas, it's the better game. I couldn't even bring myself to finish Lost Planet.

I'm glad more people get to experience DMC, it's hard as **** but worth the effort.

So March came in like a Lion and is going out like a Lamb for Sony. I hope someone writes a book one day about all the happenings surrounding Sony and the PS3, similar to Dean Takahashi's book on the Xbox. What I wouldn't do to be a fly in the wall at Sony HQ.
 
Sony has good enough 1st parties. The PS3 will have its moments as will the other systems.





....but I think this is another nail in the coffin for the NA market.

by the amount of times i see blu-ray movie ads on tv, they have their money spent on voicing other hype.

DMC3:SE was on PC as well.

Anyway, I have a little hope for this game since "wannabe cool Dante" is no longer the main character. Dear god I hated him so...

...and there's your answer right there. I just wish they could get the picture. They have a lot of promising 1st and 2nd party titles, but the ones that qualify as system sellers aren't even coming out anytime soon and even those (save for GT) don't sell like Mario or Halo.

Wow, jesus. What a day.

Sony is just making mistake after mistake so far, how many more can they really afford? Oh well, at least I won't have to buy a PS3 to play this.

It's a trap mckmas, I download the LP demo, enjoyed it but still hated the final product. Both games are love hate, Gamefly/Blockbuster is your friend.

Xsamu, cancel that pre-order I hear Dante is playable in DMC4. :D
 
Just a random question but what is gamestop/eb giving for ps3's anyways? I'd like to see how much money some people will be losing heh

Except the demo of Dead Rising is very different from the actual game. The mission structure completely changes how its played, for better or worse. But let's not forget the power of the rental!

I think Capcom would have announced the ports now if they were really planning on them, but if they do port it would be good for all.

see Sony fans? Nothing to worry about - this is probably only possible on the PS3 and if it IS possible on the X360, you'll probably have to switch disks to make it so.
