So I pre-ordered Simpsons season five in October with Super Saver Shipping.

It came out today. Now, of course there's no way I'd get that by Christmas with free shipping, especially since they're ignoring all the free shipping orders to make holiday deadlines.

So I called up, and just asked for a free upgrade to second day air so I'd get it in time for Christmas, based partially on my large order history.

And so, I got free two-day shipping.

Well for one thing, I have over 100 orders this year.

But this was probably more of a holiday gesture, and if you tried to abuse it they'd probably flag the account.

I find their free shipping suprisingly fast, but I think Chicago must be near one of their distribution centers.
