The sites you list are typically the ones that play by clockwork rules. ALMOST ALL media that works day to day in this industry IN THE REAL WORLD WITH PEOPLE NOT JUST STEALING SHIT FROM THE WEB is privy to all sorts of information, it just depends on what circles they're in.

If you mean: Spong fucks sources over, so why trust them -- well, I don't see the logic in that thinking in any case.

I viewed the hints and guessing as a somewhat on-topic waste of time until E3. I hadn't realized people took it so seriously.

At least this thread was quickly devolved into real insiders vs. the “Nintendo sends me press releases!” crowd. I kid, of course. Still, the point is that dropping or guessing at hints seems to be a far better pastime than the trolling and hate that seems to be on the increase.
