So the person who killed his wife and his son (the evil ghosts in the film) is still alive unlike where he commits suicide in the US version? WTF? What the? Explain this.

I dunno, I think he was a ghost too. Just that the girl wasn't killed by the mother and son because she was unintentionally 'playing' peekaboo with the child. But the father didn't give a shit and slayed her like the mighty vengeful spirit he was. The ending really made no sense to me either when I say it ages ago.
