I'll wait until they're free. Maybe if they hadn't taken 6 months to patch the game I might be more inclined to put my hand in my wallet...

As for the maps themselves, Sanctuary looks great (and it was funny to see chespace get grenaded 20ft skywards on the teamxbox vids) as does turf, containment looks erm... big.
Hopefully these maps arent riddled with new exploits, especially on turf where it would be havok.

i love all the huge peices of stone in sanctuary, and the center tower with the water (and sword) in the center. i love the ramps, and openess of the stage, yet it still has loads of ledges and objects to hide behind. it actually almost reminds me of a more symmetrical hang em high...
and turf just looks really really cool. like a counter strike map, in halo, complete with medical tents (from the e3 2003 demo!?) and LOADS of crates and boxes to hide behind and knock around with explosions. and did you see the scarab?

I just want to see how the rockets/snipers impact these large levels.
IMO Coagulation is viewed as crap mainly due to the rockets tracking abilities. (although it's needed to counter the crap crap banshees).
I'll play the shit out of the smaller ones though.
