Apparently, a new track in Pokemon Dash can be unlocked if Pokemon Emerald's put inside the GBA slot on the DS.

Since the DS and GBA can't communicate with each other through cables (or the wireless adapter), I sincerely hope Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl are compatible with the Advance Generation Pokemon series.

That's cool. I bet they put their minds to it they could figure out a way for you to at least salvage your Ruby/Sapphire/Leaf/Fire/Emerald pokemon collections.

With Leaf Green/Fire Red, Ruby/Sapphire, and Pokémon Colosseum, you can get every single Pokémon ever on the GBA.

If they make me get them all over again on the DS I will be very pissed.
