Do you mean Bethesda Softworks or Game Studios?

Because if the latter, then sadly them. Starfield was ass and gives me low hope for anything they do in the future.

Naughty Dog easy, all other have had a huge impact in the industry as well as culture - GTA, Elder Scrolls and Souls all are incredible and their own genre. What game has ND made that has non gaming casuals know about it? Nothing.

Outside of Skyrim I don't care much for Bethesda. So away with you.

Bethesda and it isn't even close.

That said I actually would not want any of these devs to close down. They all have their bright spots. Especially not From. Don't even joke about that!

Almost pains me to vote this way but Bethesda, undoubtedly. Starfield really showed how dated their overall design philosophy is and has made me realize they're almost certainly past their prime. They're stuck designing the same quest and combat experiences they've been doing for 20 years with minimal variations.

My expectations for TES6 are so low it could take core samples.

I feel both Naughty Dog and Bethesda have a potential to be saved if you sack both Neil Druckmann and Todd Howard. We will see with how R* will fare without "The Benz", Dan Houser and Lazlow.

So, I wouldn't sacrifice any of these companies. Only directors.

Naughty Dog, although Bethesda's a contender. Naughty Dog's cinematic storytelling for a long time was a huge blight on the industry. Bethesda's just comically incompetent.

I've had problems with From's and Rockstar's games for a while, but they still put out solid stuff despite that.

Yes after Elden Ring, it's easily mainstream. Many of my non-gamer friends asked me about it and my help in beating bosses. Unfortunately none seem to beat it, they give up after a few tries. ER went really really big.

1) Rockstar - shit, barely puts out anything
2) Naughty Dog shit, barely puts out anything. But I'm interested in Intergalactic.
3) From Software - shit, puts out the same thing over and over for over a decade

Bethesda is fantastic and has been pumping out games nonstop for several years. Might as well just give up on any western games.

Would be Bethesda if it meant just the main studio and not the publisher that owns multiple studios.

Therefore Rockstar, just to get rid of that garbage launcher.

I don't need Naughty Dog in my life. I prefer playing games and not watching them and BGS games are at least more focused on gameplay even if they're also not my cup of tea.

Rockstar and FromSoft make the games I want to play.

Ok you got me, I totally forgot about Jak and Daxter those were some good fun on Playstation ( I played all three and the Daxter game). That said to me that feels like it was a different studio than what present day Naughty Dog is.
Yeah, I agree with you. I'm saying the Naughty Dog of today has said they won't make any more games like Jak and Daxter. So, removing them wouldn't affect that, but it's just sad. Why does everything have to be a cinematic third-person action game? I miss platformers. Astro Bot was fantastic.

Bethesda needs to stay since a Fallout or Elder Scrolls game always have the potential to be the best games of all times and realities

Either Naughty Dog or Soft could go, never liked any of NDs games even the first Last of US was just alright. Don't care for Elden Ring. Rockstar at least got GTA.

Naughty Dog. Easily.

Take their high production values away (something that literally every other studio can have if they also have access to Sony's bottomless pockets) and you're left with games that are 6 or 7/10 at best.

Druckmann is one of the biggest hacks in the industry, and his writing skills are below the worst of the likes of Cage.

Naughty Dog has got to go. Their games are once or twice and done.
Bethesda are criminals but their games provide me with way too much fun. Even Starfield locked me in for a couple dozen hours.
The other two shouldn't even be part of the question.

Adding Bethesda to this poll makes it loaded.

Personally I would not mind getting rid of Rockstar at this point. Will need a lot of convincing to play GTA6. Though will watch it on YouTube a bit.

From Soft I feel they have peaked with Elden Ring. Wont be playing a Dark Souls 4. But more new titles like AC can make them safe.

Naughty Dog would be an ideal candidate to win this poll but I find Intergalactic to be interesting.

Agreed about From Soft. As much as I liked Elden Ring, I had way more fun with Armored Core 6. The souls formula needs some rest.

The one thats made the same game 9 times. And all of them are ugly

I get what you are trying to say but even if i'm generous and accept Bloodborne is the same as the others, in what way is Sekiro also the same? Because other than the whole reseting thing at the safe spot, everything else is completely different.

Not even a contest and I say this as a man who had bummed more hours in to the Uncharted games, and TLoU, Jak and Daxter and Spyro than the other 99.9%.

At least with Bethesda, poor and formulaic as they are, you get the feeling the could accidentally make a good game.

Naughty Dog have refined their 'formula' so well that we're doomed with it.

If you don't think Uncharted influenced/impacted the industry, you're crazy.

I'd absolutely have no problems saying goodbye to Naughty Dog. I respect people's opinions, but if they were gone it wouldn't affect me whatsoever.

I think adding just "Bethesda" is reductive. Bethesda is a publisher that has multiple developers, From, R* and ND are all developers, not publishers.

If the poll had Bethesdsa Games Studio, that'd make more sense.
