Just saw the latest episode, which was a great one, I thought the music did fit the action

Law just clicked with me right away. I usually like getting to know a character first as well, but I knew he'd be someone I'd like the second I saw him sitting in the Sabaody Auction Room. I'm sure we'll learn more about him later on anyway. Law isn't really my favorite either, but I prefer using side characters as avatars rather than the main crew.

And yes, new episode was great. A small but satisfying taste of how awesome the Big 3 are now. Next episode should be a lot of fun as well, especially if Sanji meets Hancock (decided against reading the manga for now).

I wonder why the writing staff chose that line for Rayleigh the manga's sounded more fitting for the occasion, "its my students farewell, I want it to be proper." Otherwise, I guess I loved the episode, I had just read this chapter this week and so many scenes being exactly the same was great. My favorite episode post time skip.

I really wish this episode was edited better. The departure in the manga was a pretty great scene overall.

Still, Rayleigh is a boss. My favorite minor character in the series by far.

From Law's first introduction he felt like another "good" guy. The rookies are my most anticipated plot point which is a shame Sabaody ended so fast the first time around. It was so good seeing similar people to the Strawhats.

Oh man, Funimation only watchers are going to drop dead when Season 4 ends on 263. No way I would be able to wait. I wish I could watch the English dub but I still can't for the life of me figure out why Funimation used a similar VA as 4Kids for Luffy.

Damn, Sanji was a fountain. That 2 year withdrawal seems to have made him even worse. I don't remember him ever sniffing women before either. And turning into stone without Hancock using her powers. Lol.

She got much better.
Basically, if you can tolerate Gohan on DBZ Kai then you can tolerate Luffy.

Toei wanted a woman voice actress voicing Luffy, and they had last say in US casting. Trying to find someone to match the Japanese casting would have been nuts, I've never heard anyone else sound quite like Luffy's Japanese voice actress.

The animation has been pretty steady lately. Poor Sanji's so broken right now.

lol at Sanji's reactions, kamabaka has made him even worse plus love the part he found out about luffy being sent to the island of woman.

someone needs to gif the part with kamabakas attack the marins with one of them saying "i am going out of my mind"

Why would Buggy join the strawhats? He's got his own crew made up of pirates from Impel Down and he's going to leave that to become what? A ship jester? No chance. He doesn't even like Luffy.

Remember the Note Buggy got from the World Government just before the timeskip? It's far more likely that Buggy becomes a Warlord and after years of believing his own hype, becomes surprisingly competent.

Coby, maybe he could defect from the marines.

Anyway I was hoping a new member wont join until they enter into the destination after fishman island or when they are deep in the new world.

I'm hoping for no new members. Or that someone has to be someone we don't already know. I really would not want Coby joining but he's deep into the marines. The only marine I could see eventually joining is Smoker when he realizes more and more that the Strawhats aren't all bad but even that's a million to one shot. Actually, the only old character I wouldn't mind joining the crew would be Perona.

If Luffy wouldnt take Ace's offer to join his crew of Whitebeard then I do not think Sabo would do it either since all of their dreams involved them becoming their own captains.

Started watching this again I just finished up with the Arlong arc I gotta say this is probably the best show I've seen it's amazing.I have a question does anyone know if there is an OST for the background music for the show? there is some incredible stuff I know some people have them on youtube as I was searching but I am not sure which album they are from I'd like to import it that and looking around there is a ton of spoilers.

There have been a bunch of OSTs for the TV series and the movies.

You can find some nice fanmade "Best of" compilations here.

I'm excited for the new movie. Today's episode wasn't so bad. There were some funny moments. I was surprised Momoo made a return.

Ugh what a place to end the episode, I was all at the edge of my seat. The last five minutes was just epic. I was all smiles the end of the episode.

The underwater looks so majestic, great adaptation of the manga.

It says it takes place IN the New World. The anime will be finishing up FI by next Fall, which is probably the earliest this movie would possibly show up. So it sounds like it will happen after the current manga arc.



Good episode is good. So wanted the episode to keep going.

They're also inconsistent. Half the time I can watch straight through without any ads at all.

Otherwise, the only other catch is that the official stream is only 360p. But it does come out only 1 hour after the Japanese broadcast for free.
