Wait, did I miss the first Shiki raid?

Went 1 for 12 on my 3d2y zoro books. Thansk RNG. I'm too annoyed to even fix my spelling of thanks.

I love double rate day. Cleaned up 150 free spots in my inventory.

I've been holding onto my Shiki copies from the last time we had movie raids, which was I don't know how many months ago haha. I was waiting for permanent skill up increase since we didn't know when he would return, if ever. Turns out I didn't need to wait :p Damn that sucks on Zoro. Hopefully you can farm a couple more skill ups today.

Yeah, another 0/5 for my second IntHawk. Really hate his skill up rate. My first IntHawk took way too many copies.

Won't touch my Invasion Shanks until we hopefully get a skill up increase...

that was the first ranking in a while I didn't get on the first try. Just use a rainbow Killer team with your four strongest dudes from each color and reaaaally milk it.

Anyway got the cooldown tome which means

Yup Killer is still the king of these ranking challenges. I always help out the most friends when I leave killer up during these rankings too. Excited for Coliseum units tomorrow, hopefully they don't kick my ass.

Finally started getting some mediocre drops in strawhat journey. Still not final boss drops, but I've now gotten Oars twice and a few extra baroque works and skypeia people. *shrug* CC has been good though. No idea WHO to give this +60 something RCV to. Enel and Corazon are done, and now I've just got an obscene amount

Gonna try killer team for ranking soon. Thank god for killer, he really does make these go smoothly

EDIT: Harder than I thought. You basically need to 50k every enemy, turtles included, and hit only greats (if killer team) on Dice to get an extra round in. You also need at least 1 strong PSY unit for the turtles. Wound up with 39 on my first run, gonna give it another go.

EDIT2: Got it on my 4th try, literally getting 42 times over 50k. Definitely not as easy as I thought. Team was Killer x2, INTHawk, RaidDoffy, SW SHanks, and red penguin. PSY and DEX units I'd say are necessary. PSY to get rid of turtles on the 5th hit (manual targets, so good luck), and dex for strong but stalling hits on Dice. I managed 5-6 hits on Dice, and between 7-9 on Baccarat's stage if you time it right.

damn that sucks to hear about your WB luck guys :(

I recently got Shanks, and I think the only reason I maxed him fully with 8 out of my 18 books is because I honestly don't care that much about him. When it comes to farming TS Luffy books down the road I'm sure I'll go 1 for 40. I'm already 0 for 15 with the almighty books so I'm well on my way.

This ranking suuuuucked. You basically need to get 50k on every enemy, along with getting several 50k hits on both Dice and Bacca, and also be lucky enough to not get screwed by Bacca in the last round (also hope that Tanaka doesn't show up). Also orb luck can screw you if you get a lot of bad orbs, or even too many good orbs while getting hits on Dice and Bacca. Took me a good 10 tries to just barely pass it with 40.

On the plus side, I did get 2 Log Luffy books while trying (not that I have LL).

I'm going between a killer team and a SW shanks team, but I keep messing this one up. I'm glad there's still time to get this one done, because it isn't happening today.

Running the Nami/Robin Infiltration Island with two Corazons and an Invasion Shanks is fun.
Although I don't know why I ran it all day, don't really need that much from it. Just needed a break from Journey Island I guess.

Ranking is a bit tricky. My first double Killer run brought me to a total of 33, which left me scratching my head. Then I just switched in my heaviest hitters for the other 4 colors (plus points for orb lv.2) and made sure to milk every stage. It's important to pace yourself on Dice, he allows for 6 or even more points if you let the buff run out and manage your hits for lower damage.

I wanna do the same but don't have any fast teams with which to do so. My lack of Legend Doffy ruins about 3/4ths of all teams I'm seeing on reddit and the rest involve other Legends I don't have. I can run 7 Days' F2P Free Spirit team, the INTHawk team, and the Jinbe team. I'm probably gonna go with INTHawk.

Lucky you, I also did a multipul and got only 4* characters and a single 5*, at least they were 8/11 new

Well, the standard SW Ace team can beat Ain without much trouble, it just takes like twenty minutes. :p Gonna have to try something else. Raid Kuma or Shiki works really well with the Smoker midboss.

Just going to try and clear out all the stages tonight/tomorrow. I'll figure out who's the easiest to farm and do that over the weekend.

Done with all the non-Chaos stages and all but the last of Zephyr's Chaos stage. I'm debating tackling it right away, or skipping over to Ain and Binz' stages until the youtubers drop some more guides. You know what, screw it, Ain and Binz get cleared tonight.

EDIT: Cleared Ain with a super stall Blackbeard team starring Legend Marco and Mansherry for Stage 4 + 5, although mostly for Smoker. Sub Cavendish was brought along to ruin Ain's day after Blackbeard's health cuts, alongside SW Usopp for safety on my HP stalling. Ain can't kill you at all if you're tanky enough. It's slow but it's super safe.

managed to get 4 skillups out of zephyr before the skillup event went away

managed to find immediately a pretty safe team,but it's a fuji team,so it depends on if you have him or not

stall freely on the first turns since ain will despair you,so half of your hp are useless

binz is easy to defeat if you reserve some matching orbs from the first stage

ain it's easy too since she gives you rcv orbs every 2 turns..stall if you have yet to charge marco psy,otherwise kill,beware of her <20% attack

to sengoku just stall the first 3 turns killing the guys with 1 cd and limiting the ones with 2 cd,since it can get nasty..you can use one fuji if you think you will have problems keeping the pace,marco psy is your emergency reserve if you think you will not be able to tank the next attack(s)...once the 3 turns pass and the debuff protection disappears,then it's diamante time to shine..his special will both delay everyone and kill everyone but sengoku every turn for a good amount of turns,so you can just concentrate all your attacks on sengoku and kill him.

zephyr is standard burst...farm orbs and let the second fuji's special do its magic..then doffy and shiki and burst him down..use marco psy if you haven't already in the previous turn since you need to tank an attack to get everything out fo fuji's special

it will probably work with a shiki+fuji variant too,just check the damage calculator for certainty

38 is the most I can get, but it all depends on orb luck. I'll make it by the end of this. One lucky run is in there.

I'm using a derivative of the team found here for Colo Zephyr; I'm using Mihawk in place of Whitebeard for Lv. 5 autoheal, and I'm using Alvida in place of Young Brook because I don't have the Coated Sunny and I don't really need to insta-KO his minions. I just pop Alvida's special on his first attack then comfortably clear as long as I hit my perfects. Sengoku's stage is tedious, but reliable. I'd say Ain's stage is actually the most annoying and likely to kill you, which is part of why I went Mihawk over Whitebeard.

no idea how to do the final stage of binz's gate..that 25 turn barrier for tashigi kinds of make everything difficult

EDIT: Man, apparently I don't understand how Enemy DEF works. I had thought it was damage reduction, meaning Sengoku's 8500 DEF in Z's stage would just reduce each hit by 8.5k, but it makes the 316k that my Marco team can deal to PSY with neutral orbs go down to 136k, which is much more than that. Otherwise, I think I could reliably clear Z with said Marco team (still managed to pull it off, but I had to stall against one of Sengoku's leftovers as well as Z himself).

I got it from the Reddit guide, it's Shiki with a friend Legend BB, along with Raid Doffy, Raid Boa, Raid Sabo, and Colo Kid (Kid can be replaced by Diamante or Barto). Against Cora you just use BB, Boa and Sabo on turn one, which will let you get rid of most/all of the other enemies (BB negates the shields, and Sabo/Boa lets you do high damage even with Greats). After Cora gives you bombs on turn 2, you use Shiki and Doffy and focus on Cora (Sabo and Boa will still be active). If there's still any enemies left after that you can take them out on turn 3.

As for stalling, I took out all but one enemy on Wave 1 and single-hit him with Boa or Sabo for as long as possible. Wave 2 has a Giant, who does a lot of damage, and Bodyguards, who will delay your STR specials after the second turn (VERY BAD), so you can only really get 2 turns here. Stall on Wave 3 much the same way as Wave 1. Wave 4 you can let the Pirates fail to lock you on their first attack, then leave one alive along with the turtle and stall there. You have enough HP between BB and Shiki that you can get around 32-35 turns if you wait as long as possible. You shouldn't have to take any hits on Cora so you can use as much HP as you can along the way. Autoheal helps, of course.

Managed exactly 40 with a Shanks team on the ranking. Working on the new colo stuff now, haven't had a ton of trouble so far. Still need to plan a team for Shiki, though.

LOL. Reddit's team for T-Bone in the Binz colo is dumb, so I checked GameWith and went with a DEX/INThawk setup. Except I somehow didn't have any INThawks on my friends list at the time. So I went with a Shiryu FC instead and cheesed it. Who needs strategy?

Good to hear! It's a rough stage, I'm pretty sure Legend BB wasn't around when JPN got it, so I shudder to think what they had to do to get past it.

I'm going to end the day on 40 copies/books of Colo Zephyr, so about half of what I need for him. And I spent the day casually messing about and not farming him at all. IIRC, I only dropped 3 gems into farming him today. So I'm very confused about how I ended up with so many except that I recall running the stage and getting 2 books and a Zephyr dupe, meaning 6 potential Zephyr skillups in a single run. I really hope that luck carries over for the 16th/17th, which is when I'll finish getting my Colo Zephyr copies. If I'm feeling motivated, I'll tackle Binz after finishing him up(my Ain team is a 10+ minute run team). I don't mind farming them on the 23rd-25th if it comes down to it, however as they're not super high priority units. Binz would make Law a hell of a whole lot more usable, though...

Did my first multi on the FP recruit on global, got my second Lucci so now I only need Sandersonia, Kaku, Oars, Moria x2, Magellan and Akainu from the story fortnight island

I can easily farm Ain, albeit slowly, so I might start there on the weekend. Didn't get a chance to try any other Zephyr teams besides the one I initially cleared it with, so I'll have to look into that. I might go for Ain this weekend, then just go Zeph for the remaining six days. I'm not sure it's worth bothering with Binz.

Yeah those Coliseums are brutal. I had no idea that these would be by far the toughest yet, I haven't even done the actual Ain or Binz stage and I'm dreading doing those when they come back.

It's a small world in optc. Just had someone from GAF show up under "guest" on my friends list. What are the chances? (Lucy Pirates) Couldn't add you this time because I'm not running Shiryu. Thought I already had you on my list but I guess not.

Still haven't touched the colo stages. Won't be able to run them this weekend either. Hopefully I find some reliable teams for farming...

indecisive as hell about on what to farm/spend gems on

the nami/robin fn offers me sockets for 3d2y robin and timeskip nami, plus dex fatsopp skillbooks

the 40 stamina flashback island gives me a chance at rayleight and boa marigold, that i was following since the start of this special island

thre's also to say that MAYBE for the french anniversary we are gonna get the socket island, so many characters' socket can be finisheded that way...and strawhats socket are not that rare in general

but that's also to say that th 40 stamina flashback island is the one with the smallest probability to actually give me what i'm looking for.


and i still have to be wary of my gems since

- french anniversary is in august
- next fortnight is fuji's book land, and i'm gonna farm the shit out of it

decision...decisions..

EDIT: FINALLY got raylight

too bad i didn't manage to get boa marigold too,but i don't want to repeat this stage only for her..i'll farm her normally another time..only thing is that her books are in the next fortnight that i was going to farm the shit out of anyway

not an elegant solution though,since the fight is a bit too long for my tastes, but it seemed reliable enough


colo coby is there to give you rcv orbs if you need them (since with tashigi is a battle of attrition,no burst) and to cover for the fighter spot..but if you think you are not gonna need them there are several better alternatives like lao g,that gives full matching orbs with shiki or raid akainu that should help you destroy binz

also if you are worried about hp you can switch diamante with shiki and viceversa, less atk but more hp that way

Ok, need some advice. I just started last week (or whenever the Sugofest was). Managed to get Akainu, so went with that since I hear he's pretty good. I also managed to pull a Diamante, which seems to fit well with an Akainu led team.

Currently using 6* Akainu, 4* Diamante, 4* Alvida, 3* Arlong, 4* Luffy (starter). I have better to replace Luffy, but don't have the cost yet (that 55 for Akainu hurts, since I can also evolve Diamante, if not for cost).

My question is, should I focus on 2x Fortnights to up my Pirate Level, or spend most of my stamina on the story quests? I'm currently at Twin Cape/Laboon.

If you are still held back by crew cost I would for sure take advantage of these x2 xp fortnights. Story islands aren't going anywhere, these types of events don't happen all that often. Eventually after they are gone I would focus on getting up to "Tower of Law ~ Gates of Justice" in the story to get the Thousand Sunny ship. Try and make sure you are taking advantage of the transponder snails on a daily basis to build turtles/cola up.

Sounds like you have a great account to start off with. Feel free to come back here and ask any other questions. This community here is probably one of the most helpful on all of GAF.

since your main concern is crew cost i'd say go for the exp
story island are mainly a source form easy gems,but they are not running anywhere anyway, so if you don't get them now,it will be later

only other reason to get deep into the story portion is that the 5*+ versions of the strawhats can only be obtain using a droppable item that it's VERY far into the story (the 3d2y island) and that can be useful for a beginner, but again,i would go for the exp first so that you can put together better teams

EDIT: oh and the 2 sunny version you get during the story islands are not bas either

the sunny is basically a better going merry since it has the same boost but als has a special that deal some damage to all enemies on screen..it's not the best,but it can help with certain stages that have a lot of enemies on screen

sunny v2 instead gives you a free 50% damage reduction with its special, but it's given at the end of the very last story island we got thus far
 
Dear lord, is it me or is this ranking way harsher than usual?

Normally I finish them right away on my first casual try.

For this one after 5 attempts I'm still only at like 35 hits.

it's harsh indeed,you can at best get around 45 hits in total...more or less...so you don't have much space for errors
i suggest a log luffy + sabo team, mostly because using sabo assures 11 hits between the dice stage and the following one by just tapping "good" repeatedly

killer teams seem also really good

Yeah, I'll echo the advice so far, you want to raise up your level for crew cost. That exact team, once all fully evolved, is actually pretty solid, so it will probably get you through a lot of content while you acquire other characters/sockets for an Akainu team.

In fact, I'd focus on the Gran Tesoro fortnight if you can clear it reliably, since it's 2x EXP right now and you can get skillbooks for Diamante (be sure and save them for a 2x skill up though). Baccarat is also a vital unit for more efficient evolver island runs, and you might even find some use for Dice on an Akainu team.

Hopefully the rates are better than the second TS batch.

And I can just echo the advice to farm Diamante books if you have him. Such a good special on a really good character, one of my most wanted RRs.

SMH.... it's just like them to release a new sugo like that directly around a time where people need to be savage with gems. Never change global.
