I am on the 10th episode right now.

This is my first post in this thread.

I just want to say by the time they got to Kira walking out with the Helena, the show kind of lost the intensity. I could feel the writers was trying to stretch out for the next season.

My favorite however, is by far the soccer mom Alison. She look exactly like Holly Hunter in Raising Arizona, including the makeup and mannerism. This woman is hilarious. I am watching the future episodes just for her.

Whoa, that's the first time I've heard that complaint before. I always thought the show was very tightly plotted.

This show's problem toward the end of the season: too many low level villains turning "good". It just open too many threads in the plot. I don't to see them sticking around. Some people need to get killed off the show. I am so glad the crazy sister and the mother are not coming back next season.

You mean Delphine? Or maybe Vic? Or Paul? I'm not sure who else really fits the description of "low level villain who turns good".

Helena was the best tho! :O

Vic is comic relief. I was referring to the French lesbian, hunky mercenary and the gumpy fucking cop.

Helena is alot of fun but she is too "Se7en" for me. Well I don't hate her, I wish they kill off the nerd chick instead.

But the gumpy fucking cop, whatever that means exactly, was never a villain. He watched her back for most of the season and even in the last episode or two was like, "Look, last chance. Just TELL ME what's going on." Sarah was like, "lol no."

In fact, it's the opposite of a minor villain becoming good. He's probably moving more towards a minor villain role as he investigates Alison. Which will probably include arresting her for murder at some point.

He serve as a villain to Sarah to me. She turned him just like that "You have to protect my child!!!!1111"

I get a bad feeling the foster mom is going to become a bad guy. I hope they give her a believable character next year.

Going back to the grumpy catcop, my problem with him getting more screen time is he is in the position to blow this thing wide open publicly. This thriller doesn't work if the clones are known by the public, because the national agencies from US/CAN will descent upon them so fast it will take the fun completely out of the show. Also the cop has no good motivation. Trying to figure out what happened to your partner can carry you so far.

So far the writers haven't given us a good reason why the clones are not going public. They have to work on the cloning defects angle more next year.

Coming friday Orphan Black finally will be shown on the "real" BBC. Friday 20 september, BBC Three, 9 pm. And the complete series is available on Netflix Netherlands.
