Just watched this. That was interesting. Still not sure I'm totally into the show yet, and I think it is more than slightly cheesy at times, but there is something that keeps me watching. Can't quite put my finger on it.

Yeah the show gets cheesy often, i think it's a great side dish to more serious stuff like Rectify or even middle of the road ones like Hannibal.

It gets better. Tatiana is fantastic.

Why isn't there a dedicated thread for this miniseries? By the producers of Breaking Bad?

I'd have missed out on it if you guys didn't name drop it here.

Checking it out right away, thanks.

spoilers in there, watch out.

I don't think it's a mini-series though, there will be a season 2 so i guess it's a regular show.

As far as mini series goes, however, i suggest you watch Top of the Lake, that is also ace.

I wouldn't call Orphan Black "cheesey", but I would also say that the themes, the characters, and the performances far outclassed the narrative drive of the season. But the first third and the last third were pretty fantastic and definitely upper-tier television.

Maybe his big dick is artificially obtained.

Oh, shiiii!!! That would be quite the twist if we learned that Paul has been genetically modified in such a way to be the perfect monitor.

I'm a bit late and someone else did it already, but how about this:

Excellent! I will use these avatars in anticipation for season 2! :D

Tails will be the fedora of posthumanist society.

lol

This just became on of my Top 3 absolute most favorite series of all time.

Tatiana Maslany is about 80% of the reason why, really.

Without her, this could've been a trainwreck.

Eliza Dushku (?) as Echo in Dollhouse comes to mind.

But damn, I CANNOT WAIT for Season 2 of Orphan Black.
