Oi, Phoenix or some of you other guys.
Is there any sort of OSX application you could suggest for backing up Data to DVD/CD? What I'm mainly interested in doing, and I can do it manually; but process automation is always a nice bonus - is simply backing up:
- Bookmarks
- Text Files
- Documents and Databases
- Address Book & Calendar
That sort of thing.
I've been doing some reading, and haven't been able to find one solution anybody agrees upon. I'm also getting mixed messages about Apple's Backup application. On one hand I read it's free to use sans a .Mac account, which I don't want; but then I'm hearing you need a .Mac account to use it.
Psync sounds too much like rocket science for my liking.
I'm not at all interested in a "hit the ground running" back-up. I just want do archive precious data and if need be - I can reinstally my operating system and applications manually.
