None of those are PS5 games.I don't quite understand what this is… but I looked for Prey, Kingdom Come Deliverance, and Mutant Year Zero and I'm still disappointed. (Three games over the years where 30 fps made me drop them)
i see, you're right.None of those are PS5 games.
It just means that the list got to 264 games most recently. Were they not before?
Ah ok. ThanksIt just means that the list got to 264 games most recently.
I dropped prey because of the sluggish performance and perceived input lag. The 60 FPS patch it got for the Xbox was a game changer, turned out to be one of my favorite games. Point being, if you can find a way to play it with higher performance than 30 FPS, do it.I don't quite understand what this is… but I looked for Prey, Kingdom Come Deliverance, and Mutant Year Zero and I'm still disappointed. They're gonna have to give up the marketing game before that, though. The average human eye can only see around 60hz.PS6 will definitely have a few 240fps games.

This especially the fact I dont have TV that supports 120 FPS.

Maybe you can update Pure Xbox list thenAlmost as many as the Xbox series S

What about racing games? Does 120fps make sense?I own one PS5 Pro and an LG Oled capable TV. I couldn't care less outside of fighting games and FPS multiplayer games, I barely noticed it.
Not stable 120 fps…
I think 120x2 FG will become the norm with PS6 & Xbox α/ωPS6 will definitely have a few 240fps games.
Even on PC stable 120 can be rare and is usually guaranteed only on older games. Even with decent hardware, new releases are more like 90-120. As long as you're in the 90+ range, I don't think it matters that much anyway. Not stable 120 fps…

Why? TVs are mostly 60, some 120 and less 144Hz.PS6 will definitely have a few 240fps games.
We will need HDMI 2.2 TVs. The 2.1 format does not support 4K240hz. Right now, the best TVs go up to 4K165hz. I would definitely expect 240Hz with FG next gen, or some really simple games running it without FG. However, the install base by 2027 in terms of TVs is going to be tiny. Why? I know you are joking but I'm not sure it is true. That said, XSX definitely has more 120fps games compared to PS5, thanks to FPS Boost program that they unfortunately abandoned.Almost as many as the Xbox series S
It's nice when you can just spend some money depending on your priorities and then brute force 120fps in all titles you actually want to play instead of being dependent on some random list a platform holder or publisher curates for you, oh wait

Running 240 native is a big waste of compute.

To be honest, I would be happy if developers were releasing games that were maxing HDMI 2.1 spec, with 4K175Hz.It wouldn't need to be native. 240/480 FPS gaming should be achievable on PS6 via future frame gen tech
Indeed the user base of HDMI 2.2 TV owners will be tiny at the launch of the PS6, but ya gotta start somewhere. At least the stars aligned well enough for there to be ample time to ensure Sony could integrate the new standard into the console. As it's a device meant to have a several year lifespan the user base will grow over time and so will the number of games that take advantage of this feature.
