It's so hard to get excited for Overwatch 2 now that OW has been boring and trash for so long.

They waited too long to make OW2 they should have capitalized on the momentum that 1 had.

1 is pretty much dead at this point. For me role queue killed it.

OW2 looks more like a halfassed expansion pack than a full game.

RIP Overwatch it was fun... 1-2 years ago.
 
I used to be hyped for any future overwatch games, then they cocked it all up for the esports scene and I couldn't be bothered with it anymore

Shame really, was a really good game

Right? I was a HUGE TF2 fan, and thought that OW would kind of carry that torch for me since at that time TF2 was not receiving the same amount of content it once was. I loved it for a few weeks, maybe months. But then dropped off of it so incredibly fast.

So much so that I just never batted an eye at the thought of going back. Even when they adding additional heroes.

Everything about OW2 just looks and seems more like an expansion rather than a full fledged sequel. Then hearing how they're changing certain mechanics in OW2 sounds even worse.

Just give me TF3 goddamnit, lmao.

Still think the game should be renamed to "Overstretched"

That was the most shallow, uninteresting and empty Origin story of OW so far.

It literally didn't say anything besides "meh overwatch proud worked with Morisson, every day, duty meh".

Actually a reflection of the game and it's team since Kaplan departure and even before.

I got bored with the game very easily and having tons of skins to unlock is not my idea of something that keeps me interested in a game.
 
I'm almost level 1200 in overwatch.
Platinum almost every season.
Although the scope of overwatch two has never been really what I wanted I'm just happy the game is finally getting some love after a couple of years.

I saw a thread where someone celebrated the fact that gender options (eg body types and voices) are not labelled male and female in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. Ah yes, focusing on the important things only eh?
 
Seems like a pretty boring/vanilla/conventional design, in the gameplay as well, what's the point? Make new characters unique and cool. Surely a robot/cyborg/whatever could had way more special tricks up its sleeve but all they show is boring sci-fi gunstuff and Idk, maybe a double jump?
