One of the reasons I like playing tracer is because I've never not seen her slot open lol

Got to remember she isn't only the face of Overwatch, she is a female lead character in a genre dominated by males and on top of that a Gay icon being a Lesbian lead who doesn't fall into the tropes of big boobed bimbo.

She just takes a very skilled player to maximize her and many have a hard time doing it so she doesn't have as high a pick rate as other DPS like Soldier or Pharah.

Oh I love Tracer as a character I just honestly didn't think she was popular enough as a hero for a skin nearly every event. Don't mind me though, I'm just salty my mains rarely get any skins while she always does. At least there's good reason for her to get one this event.

Edit: Wow.. I feel like I'm playing a different game then everyone here. The teams I always see are like meme teams... y'know Hanzo, Genji, Widow.. no tanks.. no healers.. lol

I see her even more often in quick play. That's were I'm currently trying to learn how to play her, and I often can't pick her because someone else insta picks her

Wow that is crazy.

Even in quick play I always see a Mercy (then again that is always me if no one else chooses her) Soldier, Tracer and maybe a Pharah. Rien, Road and Zaryha been getting a ton of love in quick play on consoles.

And if I remember correctly, McCree's voice actor was also Shepard in Mass Effect. I like his voice, but I switched the game to english pretty quickly. Having a game like this without the diversity of accents ruins it. It's a good dub though, Junk is on point (and Widowmaker has the same actress in french and english, obviously ! Different lines though).

Really strange, the same can't be said of Sombra. They use a different actress for the Latin American voices even though the original VA is fluent.

Yeah but I meant that they just remove the stuff afterwards, therefore limited. Which sucks. They finally release something new then yank it out after a week or two going. From a business standpoint it probably makes sense cause you rile the shit out of the playerbase to play during these event. From a consumer standpoint however I think it sucks, I would have rather they released the skins and just let people try and get them at their own pace.

Making it hard during the event. Cause the skins they have during the events costs three times more than the regular ones. And usually they come in their own little special lootboxes so it's not like you can grind beforehand a ton of lootboxes and then open them during the event hoping you get one of the specific skins.
 
Lot of great looking skins there. The Genji, McCree, Mercy, and Widow are especially nice, I'd really like to get those. Rein and Tracer look pretty good too, but Rein already has a ton of amazing ones. It's too bad he doesn't have his glorious flowing hair in this one.

It doesnt really matter how popular she is. She's the main character or at least the OW mascot.

Pharah on the other hand, she deserves much more.

Yes, though I feel like the new VA for Mercy is a bad choice too because her German doesn't have any Swiss accent. It's basically what is referred to as "TV German", which is similar to Transatlantic or Shakespearean English, and barely representative of German Switzerland.
Mind you I'm not asking for her Swiss accent to be so heavy that she can be barely understood, but there's a certain way German Swiss pronounce and articulate words and phonetic details that are super unique to Switzerland.
Mercy sounds like she's straight up from Germany.
 
Horde Overwatch is dope. I'll probably play a lot of this to try and get some skins.

Fucking dumb they nerfed the leveling though. I'm at 89, and I was looking forward to some quicker boxes in the next event.

They said reason to be so that people would keep playing between events, but I'm surprised if major factor in change isn't attempt to push more people into purchasing boxes with &#8364;&#8364;&#8364;.

You're underestimating how addictive Persona is :(

That said I'll squeeze a bit of this in, and I've never been shy of forking out cash for boxes in events either.
 
Definitely getting that awesome Mercy skin!

I play McCree a lot and I'm not very excited about his skin. It kind of just looks like McCree in black clothing...? Kind of disappointing.

Everything else looks great, pumped for the event.
 
I can't even play Genji but I want that Blackwatch skin. Just so I can stare at it whenever he appears on the menu select screen haha.

That is seriously one of the best OW skins yet. Aside from Genji's and McCree's, I'm not really feeling the rest.
