Overwatch |OT11| Have Mercy

Just had a game where the one of the supports wanted to play Ana(no mercy) and we got stomped in round 1. So disheartening to see the enemy mercy ressing left and right negating our kills while our Ana is getting nothing done. The next round he switched and all of a sudden we win. Mercy needs more nerfs, I don't think even pre hotfix bastion was this strong.

Nerf Mercy or buff Ana you mean? There is no reason why other healers can't heal as much as her.
 
After playing 60 games non-stop, I finally got the 'Held The Door ' & "Dawn Breaks" achievements for Junkenstein's Revenge. Apparently, for Dawn Breaks, you don't even need to play Endless to get that one, as you just need to beat Junkenstein's Revenge on Expert difficulty to earn it.

I keep saying that, but everyone immediately jumps on with "No! Power creep's bad! We don't need to make healers better! We just need to NERF MERCY!"

On a related note, the one thing that I love about Ana, was that a good-to-excellent Ana player was a hard counter to Tracer and Genji's antics, and I wished Ana still had that niche of being the only support hero that can duel against flankers.

It was a blast to see an excellent Ana going against a skilled Tracer and see who would win, and it offered your team additional utility for dealing with them.
 
Just getting my Junk Revenge loot crates done for the week in Arcade and I must admit it's funny seeing rando McCrees/Hanzos beg me to heal them as Solider since the Ana won't do it. Soda can has a cd folks!
 
Win first game, lose second thanks to thrower, those 3rd thanks to rage quitter.

I love this season so much, if I get stuck in Diamond thanks to all these bullshit players constantly making me lose I'm just moving on to Battlefront or something. Its really starting to not even feel worth the time anymore when most of my losses arent even in my control

God, the new Mercy is really pissing me off.

Look at her compared to the other primarily healer, Ana. Mercy has self heal that Ana doesn’t, she has the mobility that Ana doesn’t, has the ability to make fights effectively 7vs6 if the enemy is not running a Mercy, that Ana doesn’t. All of this while being much easier to play and consistently play her to her full capabilities.

The only 2 things Ana has over Mercy, are the ability to block enemy healing, and take out 1 enemy from the fight for 7 seconds. The latter being a high skill abilities that can be inconsistent. Her Nano Boost ult is meh compared to Mercy’s incredible Valkyrie that changes game fights.

Look, I am fine with Mercy (even tho she makes the game much worse) being how she is as long as Ana gets buffed. I am not okay with her being such an impact hero in matches when she takes 60% less effort and skill to play compared to Ana.

Blizzard pls, give us granny back

i joined in today tbh.
it was during work and i didn't really speak. with the whole gaf doing down, 4chan raiding the server. i was just looking to see if it was safe.

yeah that's how Im feeling by this whole thing with resetera. spent so much of this weekend blowing off work I really needed to do to try to get that sweet discord invite and kept finding threads that were closed or abandoned like 30 min before I got there haha.

So now I guess it's waiting forever for an invite cuz I don't have an in with any of the communities I frequent (most i do are OT which I can't access of course).
 
Goodbye OW-GAF. PS4GAF and Discord knows where to find me. OW-GAF was the first and only sub-community I actually felt like a part of in all my years here. It's been real.
