OXBM UK Conker Review.

Gets a 9/10. BFD is a straight port with graphical updates and some minor updates on the Bull shit stage. The control has been improved over the first game but camera angles can still be a problem. The campaign mode with the dumbots gets a great review basically the single players gets all the best elements of the of the team based game. The AI for the bots both enemy and friend are great and the bots are adept at working together. Gameplay is fast and frantic and the ction never lets up in fact they say its one of the most chaotic , enjoyable shooters they have ever played. The game is very hard, and bouts of gamepad chucking should be expected. The LIVE options are going to be reviewed seperately but they did say that the 16 player game was fanatstic and certaintly gives Halo 2 a run for its money.

I've played a bit on xbox live this week end, and multiplayer game is really damn fine, if not a bit on the complex side. Just understanding the objectives for each map takes some time.
There is one map I really liked where you have to activate three towers, one is in your camp, the other is neutral and the last one is in the ennemy camp. You can access the switch in each tower either by flying there, or by foot (or even using the thing almost named like a warthog). When activating a tower it also activates the turret guns so some people can stay there and defend it.
My main complaint so far is that most if not all maps won't be any interesting with less than 8 players at least.
There is map on a planet also known as... doon

Blim, is there any way to turn off player names and health in multiplayer?
I did not try to look in the options, if I have some time I'll try it tonight.
It's not as annoying as I thought.

From what I've seen, the game is pretty different from the PC version.

What! I specifically didn't buy the PC version because it was my understanding that the Xbox version was the same game with multiplayer (not over Live though), as well as having the scoreboard tracked over Live.

I'm pretty surprised about what happened to "Destroy All Humans." Last year's E3 it got all sorts of praise from the media, and since then I've heard very little about it. 8.4 isn't bad, I will def. rent it.
