Ozark season 4 part 2 trailer. The final episodes.

That ending fucked me up man. Fuck.
The entire "Season 4 Part 2" felt super off; the actors didn't seem to really believe their parts anymore.

It was super inconsistent. Season 4 had some of the best writing/acting and simultaneously some of the worst writing/acting. It would shift even within the same episode lol. Overall a damn good show.

I never watched the show, don't @ me broski

I've been trying to watch this series for months now. I'm half way through s2 and still nothing has happened and I keep falling a sleep. Boring series but I hate not finishing shows I start ;(

Shitty ending considering how they advertised it having a well prepared one. In fact it felt like the writers didn't know about the cancellation and just wrote a mid-season finale.

Yep, and the cartel 'winning' reminded me of that schlocky Ridley Scott movie The Counselor. That said I'm surprised to see some people saying it ruins the whole thing. I didn't feel that way at all. Season 3 in particular is still some of the best damn television ever, which is saying a lot since it lacked a couple of the show's stronger characters Agent Petty and Cade Langmore. Helen Pierce and Ben Davis did a lot of heavy lifting.

Onto Deadwood now.

Just finished this and I'm applying to join the "what in the fuck was that ending?" club.

Genuinely feels like the show was cancelled before they wrote the final episode. Honestly the back end of the last series is probably the worst part of the show overall, but that ending was just... nothing. Cutting a story off when there's a dozen story threads left isn't a cliffhanger, it's just cutting it off. So many of the characters' motivations and choices are totally illogical, the whole Wendy's dad thing went nowhere and contributed nothing to the show.

I'm so confused. The show was pretty damn good until this and then it just totally fell apart.

It was a bad ending. As a result, no one talked about it and it's like the show fell off the face of the planet. Shows with good endings, even if a bit controversial, usually keep getting talked about for a while. But this one's ending was so bad, it seemed people just wanted to forget it.

Shame bc it was a good show. It had some issues with pacing and felt like it was trying too hard to be shocking, but I enjoyed the ride. Just… ugh that ending!! Lol, why!?

Oh well, at least the ended and didn't keep going on too long.

The show should've ended with season 2 or 3, imo.

Season 3 ending fits fine as a series finale. Its enough of an "oh shit" zinger while simultaneously finishing off the (at the time) main antagonist. Some loose ends of course but nothin too bad.

If I were to dive into this series. Would you suggest just ending at season 3? I hate series that end on low notes, and it sounds like this does.

Yeah, ending on Season 3 is fine. The ending of Season 2 is thematically even a better fit, but you miss out on Season 3 episodes which are arguably the writing & acting at their absolute peak. So I'd say go to 3.

But you're kinda getting ahead of yourself. You should watch Season 1 first to see if you like it at all lol

So my gf and I binged this series over the past few weeks. What a shitshow the last handful of episodes were. I loved 90% of the series but bleh, that last episode specifically was completely unsatisfying.

Wendy never getting her comeuppance is one of the biggest disappointments I've ever seen from a show.
