What's the deal with this guy? I don't understand why he's such a huge ass celebrity. Also, why the constant character change from Puff Daddy to Puffy to P. Diddy? What the fuck? I don't think I know one song this guy has done yet people refer to him like he's a rap legend. Did I miss something?

Look here buddy. I don't know who you've been talking to, but no one refers to that asshole as a rap legend. He can't rap for shit. He just did a lot of good things for the BadBoy label in its early years, like promoting Biggie Smalls aka Notorious B.I.G.

IMO the elitists and actually most people will say he's not a rap legend, but that depends on your definition of a legend. Regarding his skills related to rapping, yeah he's not the greatest or deep (lyrically), but they do get the place jumping. You know, just enjoyable, mainstream/commercial hiphop.
But he's done a lot more than rap, which is probably why he's so well known. Puffy (as I like to refer to him :lol) really knows how to get the word out, about himself.
