IGN impressions

IGN said:
...Pac 'n Roll is, essentially, a fleshed-out Marble Madness concept that puts all its focus on the Nintendo DS system's touch screen as a "trackball" style of control. It's almost similar to what Nintendo did for the controls in Pokemon Dash, but since Pac-Man as a sphere maintains a bit of momentum as he rolls around the environment, it feels much more natural than the Pokemon DS racing game...
sounds interesting. i loved marble madness :D , hopefully it will be in a similar league.

i've never been any good with marble madness - too impatient, but perhaps it would be cool if namco can port armadillo racing to the nds. i doubt it'd ever happen though...

Awesome Awesome Awesome! Looks really fun. I can't wait :)

Although they did get one thing wrong. The official videos showed that there are 6 stages [possibly more] with 6 spots on each. So that's 36 levels all up.

Still, I wish they would chuck in some more for the hell of it. Pac 'N' Roll levels look like they could be made from a Tony Hawk Level creator.

Same with Kirby DS and Donkey Kong JB and KOS. Such simple level structure should mean shitloads of extra levels just for the hell of it. I don't care if they're fuggin' hard, doo it!

I think IGN said in there impressions that there was 5 worlds with 4 spots each. I hope that you are right. It is always good to have extra levels. Unless it ruins the story or has horrible level design.

Also is Pac n' Roll suposed to have any type of multiplayer? I just skimmed the impressions.

Each level should end up with around the same amount of sub-areas. It'd be silly not to.
