Perhaps but both Halo 3 and Reach were released when UK sales in general were much more healthy. In the current environment, anything that sells over 200k is pretty impressive.
Yep Halo 4 is a single platform game as well and it outsold AC 3 on both platform.
Doing 340k ~ is great imo.
Im sure in NA, it will do much better and it will do better then reach

Considering that sequels on same platform tend to me more and more frontloaded as gen goes on those are little dissapointing sales for Halo 4. Not a bomb though.
& considering is the most expensive game of the vgame history, I'm not saying is going bad but I guess M$ expected a lot better... will see in US.

Very disappointing launch for Halo 4 and that is very surprising, even all things considered. Halo seems to have lost it's allure now amongst the mainstream, replaced by the CoD series.
I would hardly expect LBP Karting to be a big 1 week hitter. It'll no doubt have some legs and be a slow burner. It'll end up getting bundled with hardware a lot too.

Will have to wait and see how it goes in other markets before seeing where the series stands. There is no question though that it has fallen behind COD now. Will be interesting to see how both series transition into next gen.
Calling it a bomba is silly but it's possibly a bit below expectations, and personally I'm surprised it didn't outsell Reach given the level of hype over the new dev and this being a proper numbered sequel.
Perhaps there is a bit of franchise fatigue or a lot of people prefer COD now. However I think it's probably more to do with the current state of the UK games market.

Merchandising too. Apparently, there's also a Halo 4 Pizza from Pizza Hutt (I got a leaflet through the door advertising it on the menu itself).
But, yeah, games are probably the farthest thing from most consumers' minds right now. Wii U launch is gonna be brutal here (just ask Sony with the Vita!) - probably the worst possible timing you could get.

Spending nearly £80 quid on two MP games in two weeks is just silly.
I'm getting Black Ops 2 this week and maybe Hitman the week after. Then Halo 4 will be my Christmas game.

Honestly, I don't know who'd be interested in doing it but they really should be a WW sales thread.
Don't know where to post it and I don't think it's thread worthy, yet, but it seems shortages for Wii U are imminent in France since TV ad began last week-end, according to sources of Gameblog. Also, the Zombi U Pack is no more available on Amazon.fr. Same for other Fr online retailers with this pack and the basic one.

Well, obviously it's not shocking news but not all the new consoles sell out on day 1 with a 250K stock (for France, more than the Wii). Also, what's interesting here is the effect TV ad seems to have. And last, if you've pre-ordered the basic pack after October 22th on amazon.fr you will not receive your console before December 13th. So; at least interesting tidbits.
