You put a song, or an artist you really enjoy and they play a song from their collection. Then they go on with songs that are sort of like it with maybe another artist. You can vote yes or no for a song which helps them choose.

Right now I got the Usher Mix going and they played Usher - U Got it Bad, then Mario - Let Me Love You.. etc.

This thing was awesome until all of a sudden it decided that it's too confused and doesn't know what to play next. This pisses me off so much.

I love it. My Pixies, Mogwai, and Twilight Singers stations have got me interested in some pretty obscure stuff.

I've found so many great bands/artists through Pandora - either artists I had known about but not given a chance or bands I didn't even know existed. Such a great site and tool.

I've been using Pandora for years.

It's how I find most of my bands.
I just type in something I like, and Pandora presents me with all sorts of similar stuff.

Wow, am I watching an infomercial? :lol

There was some free VPN software I found ages ago that a few bloggers here in Australia said was easily fast enough to let us get back onto Pandora, but a few too many people must've found it at once because it was slower than grabbing a random US proxy. Really sucks, Last.fm can be fairly helpful and I've got places like Pitchfork, TinyMixTapes and Boomkats for my reviews, but nothing compares to the speed at which I was able to trawl for esoteric music with Pandora, music often far too esoteric to discover through ordinary channels.

I love Pandora... I usually listen to it at least once a day. I've found a lot of good songs on there that I had never heard before.
