Just because the DMCA isn't everything the media companies would've liked doesn't mean that it's a balanced approach. If I threaten to burglarize someone's entire house and kill their dog, that doesn't make just swiping their TV and chopping off their two of their dog's legs 'balanced'. I get a TV, and the people I took it from just have to watch thier dog roll around on his little cart for entertainment.
And folks, if you're concerned about this stuff (as you should be), write your Congressmen and let them know how you feel. Just because this junk isn't being enforced on a large scale now doesn't mean it won't be in the future. The More You Know
