Panzer Dragoon Orta: How to make a game for fans of a series.

Seriously, even past the game and the fact that the original's included there's stuff for people who get all freaky and try to learn everything about the game and the history and blah blah in it. You've got a crapload of material about monsters, wars, the world itself, so on and so forth. It's perfect for people who do like to know *everything* about a game.

Heh, it's true. Even Panzer Saga had some of that...you could look at some old books and get overviews of what had happened in the previous two games. It was pretty neat stuff.

PDO rocks and was one of the main reason I got an xbox, I still like panzer 1, and 2 along with saga better than orta, but orta clomes in a close 4. I wish it had the orchestrtated music as it's predessors. Definetly the best xbox game in my opinon at least.

I just started the game a few days ago. Seems pretty sweet so far, although it seems like you gotta memorize the levels and know where to shoot/aim. The target cursor moves too damn slow

Memorization becomes vital particularly learning all the hidden tricks and quickshot opportunities to acquiring the dragon powerup icons scattered in each level. Triggering the occasional forked path in levels works similarly. Both are very rewarding elements of the game design though. Man, I should replay this again soon, such an awesome game.
