The instrumental itself is not bad. It would make good lounge music, but Paris Hilton brings nothing positive to that song.

Shit! It stopped playing at 1:56. I need to know what happens next!

I can't wait for her next album so I can bump this shit in my car.

'Mind-numbing' Paris Hilton track 'Drunk Text' pulled from YouTube after being panned by bloggers

The song sees the socialite discussing 'sexting' over electro beats

The video for the new Paris Hilton featuring single 'Drunk Text' by Manufactured Superstars, has been taken down from YouTube after being panned by bloggers and critics.

Featuring spoken word lyrics from the socialite, eOnline reports that the song contains such nonsensical couplets as: "If you take the word 'sex' and mix it with 'texting,' it's called 'sexting'/When you add drunk sexting, the words just don't make sense" as well as "It's a hot mess of misspelled obscenities, body parts and run-on questions/I'm not sure what he means to ask” and "Behind my eyes, I was begging for things my lips would never ask/And my mouth kept pouring desperate clauses of random intent."

Before it was taken down, blogs began laying into the song, with Jezebel writing: "It would appear that she's not interested in maturing or evolving. She's totally comfortable with being pigeonholed as a bitchy party girl." Popcrush said that the song was "one of the most mind-numbing, vapid tracks we’ve ever heard." Scroll down to listen to a number of clips from the electro track.

Damn.

Was looking forward to reading the YouTube comments.

I don't understand why she is doing shit like this when she doesn't have to do anything at all.

Agreed It's a terrible business move, her managers shouldn't do this. She should stick to merchandising/modelling stuff she can still move millions of product and actually let her persona age a little. She's 30+ years old but still makes rookie moves.

is that why we know her?

i just thought it was her Hilton money

No, it's because of the sex tape. She then taught this strategy to her friends, like Kim Kardashian, who also became famous for her sex tape. Sex tape = shortcut to stardom.

Seriously. I swear I had no idea a Paris Hilton even existed until that sex tape was released.

The whole thing still seems like a parody to me.

Even the tune sounds like it's been thrown together in GarageBand from a handful of samples of 10 year old tracks.

You take the word 'sex' and mix it with texting. It's called 'sexting'.

I didn't know the Ark Music Factory guy finally stopped targeting children.

Anyone who is anyone that likes Pop music knows that Paris's 1st record was a classic. Y'all wanna dog on her because she's Paris. That's cool but it doesn't change the fact that your favorite artists could only hope to achieve a great album like her 1st.

Admittedly this track is something many artists would struggle to achieve.

You are either:
1) A massive troll
2) You are some type of PR account used by Paris Hilton, Chris Brown, Britney Spears, Rihanna etc.
3) Insane
4) All of the above

Nah, "Paris" actually was a pretty decent pop album. Sure, Paris' vocals aren't very memorable (she sounds like a poor man's Britney Spears on most of the songs), but "Paris" has some of Scott Storch's best production work before he became irrelevant.

You can't shade me without actually listening to the record and not keeping on topic. So I remain Unbothered.

Nothing surprises me on MusicGAF anymore, not after seeing how the Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys were treated during the Grammys by a bunch of the pop-tards here.

Take it from me, it wasn't fap worthy... considering how much money she has, you'd think she'd have a better production... grainy ass camera's.. >_>

perfect music for clubs, I think the mix is cool and I really don't mind a girl talking as the music sounds.
