I just want to acknowledge that Evilore made a post that used the phrase "basement dwellers" in a thread about a game featuring people -- known as "dwellers" -- who actually live underground and he didn't make a joke connecting the two ideas.

The Parody Thread Purges happen because Evilore envies how much better at jokes than him we are.
