I know one person that got a girl to come from Thailand. They dated for 3 years, get married, she comes comes to Canada, and leaves the guy within a year and half. Really good stuff.

The guy who ran my local dive bar was one of the original passport bros. Picked his wife up in Thailand 25 years ago. They're still married and have a kid, both are nice people and seem happy.

There's nothing inherently wrong with looking outside your own country, culture, race, etc for a partner.

Just bear in mind that if a woman just sees you as a ticket to a better life, the relationship is unlikely to last. If it's a real long term relationship you're after, there does need to be a meaningful connection beyond just trading sex for a higher living standard.
