Tech guru John C. Dvorak recommends the DS in his article:
If you know a child or someone who acts like a child, don't think twice about getting the dual-screen, touch-sensetive Nintendo DS. Wow! What a great product - especially when it's combined with Nintendogs, perhaps the most compelling new game since The Sims. Kids simply love this game, which similuates actual dog ownership. Hint: You have to "pet" the dog - a lot! Think of it as Tamagotchi meets The Sims meets meets Furby meets Wacom, in the guise of a dog. It's a stunning product. The DS sells for around $130, and Nintendogs costs around $27. You can rely on most of the games for the DS being out of the ordinary. Highly recommended.
