I think i'd rather just play indies and retro games on local hardware then going all in on a streaming service for gaming if that would be the only option in the future.
I'd probably give up high end stuff in a heartbeat.
And I love high end gaming tech and all the bells and whistles.

But I don't see this being the only option.

1. Nothing of the sort will happen because demand drives the market, not the other way around.
2. "Cloud" means lower price of entry and shittier experience which means that it can't be a "premium" and will in fact be "consumer".

I would react by staying subscribed to Gamepass Ultimate with xCloud running Magnus and both PC and Console games.
