Yup. They wanna appeal it after agreeing to it then I say kill the program. Teach them not to appeal.
Appealing a ruling isn't bad form on principal, appealing when you contractually promised NOT to appeal, is.

How about the abused children; they accepted tickets to Penn State games, lunches, dinners, etc. Didn’t they have motives? Why didn’t they go to their parents, police or school officials? Why are they held blameless? Now, years later, they come forward, including Sandusky’s son.
Holy shit. A 4 year death penalty sounds nice, what sounds even better is tossing on an extra year for being absolutely brazen in their efforts to act in bad faith and once more abdicate responsibility. The terms clearly aren't nuclear enough to speak to these imbeciles.
That is absolutely disgusting. By the way you can email the opinion editor for that publication here: mailto:midaniels@gannett.comhttp://www.courierpostonline.com/article/20120804/OPINION01/308040003/A-good-man
Cult Letter to the Editors.
Apparently it's time to blame the victims.
They got off easy.
Did you guys see that PSU is changing their uniforms this year. I guess that explains where they will get the $60m from.
I think they're just putting names on the back. I don't know if there are any changes other than that. It would be incredibly short notice to do that, I think.

They are also adding blue ribbons to show support for victims of child abuse.

Why did Corbett initially have only one agent on the case and later just two narcotics officers as opposed to investigators who specialized in child-sex crimes during most of the 22 months between the time the first allegation was turned over to his office and his ascension to the governor's mansion? And why did the probe gain steam only after his appointed successor, Attorney General Linda Kelly, took charge?
Did Corbett shortchange the Sandusky case because so many agents were assigned to the political-corruption probe called "Bonusgate," which became his main selling point in the gubernatorial election? Did he fear the political ramifications of charging Sandusky and tarnishing the reputation of legendary Penn State coach Joe Paterno, given the popularity of Penn State football across the state? And was he swayed by the fact that some members of the board of Sandusky's charity, the Second Mile, were campaign donors?
What's more, critics have questioned why the Corbett administration went ahead with a $3 million grant for the Second Mile after he became governor, given that he was aware of the serious allegations against the former Penn State defensive coordinator. Corbett has argued that withholding the money would have tipped off the probe's targets.
Looks like bigger press outlets are beginning to look into Corbett's handling of this whole mess

A witness interviewed by federal authorities in the widening Penn State investigation claims he saw Jerry Sandusky and one of the school's prominent boosters sexually abusing boys on a private plane.
And while Postal Inspectors are also trying to determine if Sandusky shared pornography through the mail and sent seductive letters to his victims, the biggest bombshell is the allegation leveled by the witness who was interviewed within the past few weeks.
That man, who has a strong tie to the booster he is accusing, says that Sandusky and the booster abused two boys on a private plane in Pennsylvania, a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.
"The witness doesn't know if the boys are victims who have already been identified or not," the source told Radar. "He claims it happened on a private plane, with no pilot or crew around and that he was an eyewitness.
"His claim is being taken seriously by investigators. They have already asked another man who is connected to one of the victims if he knew anything about this. And they are following up with other potential witnesses."
While Postal Inspectors have taken the lead in the investigation into possibly mailed material, the FBI was present during the interview of this witness and is continuing to probe.
"This witness has some baggage," the source said. "The Feds are going to need to corroborate what he says. But he is adamant that he is telling the truth. And that raises questions about why he didn't report what he saw at the time.
"Unfortunately he's not the only person involved in this who didn't do the right thing when they should have."
The witness has also refused to comment and his former attorney told Radar that he would not comment about a client.
But RadarOnline com has obtained documents that financially tie the witness to the booster. Those documents show a significant and tangled relationship between the two men.
Penn State Losing Recruits.
They are losing a lot of top recruits, some are even players that had said they would stay after the sanctions came down.
Witness: I Saw Sandusky And Penn State Booster Abuse Boys On Private Plane

This is absolutely insane. It's starting to sound like some sort of sick pederasty of the rich and prestigious in Penn State.
An accrediting organization has told Penn State that its status is "in jeopardy" based on recent developments in the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal.
The Middle States Commission on Higher Education, which accredits universities in the Mid-Atlantic region, cited information in the school's internal investigation led by former FBI director Louis Freeh and the severe penalties imposed by the NCAA over the school's handling of molestation allegations against the former assistant football coach, who was convicted in June of 45 child sexual abuse counts.
The commission said in an Aug. 8 notice that Penn State remains accredited while "on warning" but it wants a monitoring report submitted by the end of next month detailing steps taken to ensure full compliance with governmental requirements, that the university's mission is being carried out, that the commission will be fully informed and that Penn State is complying with standards on leadership and governance as well as integrity.
Damn it every time this thread bumps I hope that he has been murdered in his cell. So disappointed.
If anything should get the trustees to wake the fuck up, it's this.
Withdrawing their accreditation would be amazing.
