I don't get their reasoning. Wouldn't shows like Linus Techtips get banned under the reasoning they are using? Not all are game related on their site.

Double standard. Some of their most popular streamers ( who are twitch partners and make twitch money via subs ) do cooking days, or other non gaming related stuff.
 
I don't see how this is any different from what Twitch normally does. If someone is doing something wrong on their broadcast they shut it down. It's not like something new is happening here they haven't dealt with before.

I guess these days, a kid and a webcam can do stuff like this, they don't need a PlayStation. It makes me sad, I remember what the Internet was like when I was that age... much different place.

The Mom was on the stream with her at one point, said her ass was too big to show to the internet when someone asked to see it. She then walked out and left her daughter in a room with 600 males asking her daughter to expose herself.

Even in the budding internet it was just as bad, you just didn't have a camera.

Work with Sony to ban users with inappropriate users. It's a great service with the Playroom, just weed out the bad apples.

When I was that age, the internet was hopping on to AOL and typing A/S/L trying to cyber with anyone and cursing people out because you couldn't get in trouble for it in chat rooms.

The tech is different but pretty much nothing has changed.

I'd like to think she thought it was streaming a game like how any other game works (ie just a feed of a video game characters in a video game world) and not the reality that it's an open door to her daughter's bedroom.

Now that I think about it... Yeah, I did some weird things in chat rooms back then. Guess it's just more widespread and easily accessible now.

I really hope all these craziness in plauroom streaming is just because its a relatively new feature on console and its novelty will die soon.. This shit is bringing the creeps out. And like others said, people have been streaming stupid stuff before this. It will be wrong to put this on sony(if there is someone who is blaming this to sony). Though I wouldn't be surprised if sony removes playroom streaming, just to stop all the thibgs from happening..

and someone please .png that sleeping guy like the ones found on the coli.. Include the pizza box lol.
