As I mentioned earlier, my niece is 11 years old, 80%-90% of her friends are on Skype, Youtube, Facebook (video) etc. I find it really weird people on a site like Neogaf don't realise all kids these days see the internet as part of their everyday lives.

The people making those kind of comments are probably younger Gaffers.

The real offense here is that those kind of streams work flawlessly while streams I actually want to watch lag horribly.

I was thinking the same thing last night. I had a few of these streams going at the same time with no issue, but when I try to watch a single gameplay one that I'm interested in it lags and stutters.

If you want to get technical about it, we actually lose money on any integrated streams since they're free-to-use, not monetized and we still have to pay the bandwith. So no, it's not because of monetary reasons.

Also, I agree with those who say the Playroom streams shouldn't be allowed. I would much prefer if we could make it so that game simply couldn't be broadcast to Twitch, period. Ustream doesn't have the non-gaming content rules that we do, so they can always go there.

About that non gaming content rule, why are people streaming stuff like cooking, or cleaning kitchens then ? Or is it because they are partners with Twitch and they get a free pass since Twitch gets money from all the subs they have, and they usually have quite a lot.

It's funny to see kinda normal people on these streams with their wife or girlfriend or just female period. It's like a crash course in the worst of the internet (ie everyday normal internet). Next version of Twitch will add the ability to do moderation and assign mods. These streams are flooded with ascii dicks and "show me ur boobs".

I click on some link and there is a girl in bed with a mask on burping, she's 11..what is going on.
Another stream has a couple of guys playing sick beats.

What's going on is the ps4 streaming is an absolute huge success. People are loving it.
Some weird and bad stuff but the regular streams are great.
