True, was just hoping they add features instead of possibly taking one away because of this.
Sony has UStream support. You can stream non-gaming stuff there, directly from your PS4.
Because they aren't being fuck lords like everyone else and are actually talking about gaming.

Would be neat, maybe. Twitch Chat/The Internet + people streaming on the PS4 today has led to some scary shit though.

I have. A lot of these people streaming are not aware of how idiotic and childish most twitch commenters are.
Is Ustream for anything? I said the same thing a little while ago but I thought I just came across something that said the PS4 channels on Ustream were also supposed to be gaming related content, so I don't even know anymore.
Reported it and it went down instantly. Glad twitch admins are on top of this.

They used to but they also put the shows up on YouTube which is why they stopped putting footage into their shows.

UStream is mainly for used for event streaming and personality shows. Streaming this stuff there shouldn't be breaking TOS, even if it is gross.

One interesting thing to note is their stream now has quality options and source is one. That means they "made it?"
So as long as Jed has a youtube channel showing games he's fine on twitch.

I wonder if Sony would let someone release an app that provides this service without the need for ar stuff/twitch. There is definitely an audience for this but twitch does not seem interested in catering to it. It seems like a nightmare to moderate but the it is interesting to see how the dynamic of these "shows" is completely different to YouTube/ webcam stuff. It would suck if a few idiots ruin this for everybody else.

Didnt understand why this thread blew up so quick. I remember seeing 20+ pages within a really short time.
Then I actually tuned into one of these stream. HOLY DAMN it was so good. Though I've missed all the crazy stuff. 302 dude and the family with yellow pants old man was hilarious. Damn its a shame Sony and Twitch have a collabo on shutting PlayRoom streams but I dont blame them.

they gave him transcode options when his stream blew up, as well as putting it o n front page of twitch.
his stream has been flagged now, apparently, so it isn't going to appear in directory listings until admins clear it

Funny that Jedi show is up and they aren't playing the game by any stretch of the imagination. All of the banned streams I saw were actually constantly playing with the robots, doing the controller disco thing, and actually actively playing the game but they get banned for not enough gameplay yet stuff where they literally are not playing the game gets a pass.
