It's a goddamn shooter after all, you think Far Cry's main character design (Jack Carver) was better? He was a Rambo-wannabe and hey how about the Doom Marine?

PD:0 deserves the blasting it gets for graphics not art. Shooters don't have great art (excluding Painkiller).

There are NO screenshots on the webpage, which means none of the screenshots we have seen are officially released.

The five screens we have seen were a part of Microsoft's official E3 press kit. I don't see how anything can be more official than that.

First, just because you think other shooters have bad art, doesn't mean another shooter with bad art doesn't deserve shit for it. If anything, they should get more for not changing a flaw in the genre.

Second, the original PD looked pretty good artwise, so there's no reason not to have expected this to.

Third, whether they have good art or not, most FPS have acceptable levels, unlike this. Goldeneye, the original PD, both Half-Lifes, both Halos, the Metroid Primes depending on who you talk to (meaning is it a FPS or not) are all better than acceptable IMO, some are even good.

You're right. If I'm not a top chef, I'm not allowed to judge what tastes bad. If I haven't made movies or I'm not a famous movie critic, I can't tell what's bad. I should probably stop trying to get rid of the pink wallpaper with yellow dots in my new house until a proper decorator comes along and assures me it's the right choice.

I mean...the game was already done, it was great, they had all the time to update the graphics and leave everything else just the way it was, but it appears it doesn't even play as good as the original and the multiplayer portion turned out quite underwhelming...
