Persona 5 getting an announcement on May 5, 2016

July in Japan, December in NA (i.e. juuuuust barely, but in the same timeframe as P4) are pretty much the absolute earliest they can make 2016.

Let's see how things go. Berseria's western launch has already backed off from the FFXV gorilla into next year. Question is if Atlus will be bolder.

I'm going to say August~September for the July release. Barely getting it into that Summer time frame, and for the states, I'm going to say most likely October~November since I assume they've had the script for a while now.

2020 for Europe

Morgana will be even hotter when the inevitable transformation scene occurs. You know it's gonna happen.

I'm gonna be bold and say it gets a worldwide release in October this year.

I'll grind up my shoes in a blender and drink them as a smoothie if P5 gets a worldwide release this year. There's no way we're getting that.

I mean, even if NA gets P5 in 2016, there's no way in hell EU will.

Wish it would come out July 28th but it won't. Would be the perfect Summer. So far:

Star Ocean 5 - June 28th
(would have been perfect to have Persona 5 here) - July 28th
Legion - August 30th
Final Fantasy XV - September 30th

Hopefully it's a release date. I'd imagine they'll have it coming out near the end of the year though. Summer would be amazing, but super unlikely.

I've been waiting for this game for years and when I start seeing new footage I will probably be hyped again, but right now I'm just not interested. The last two delays and complete radio silence, joined by the fact that I live in Europe, are making me just not care. I love the Persona series and I hope I can get back in the hype train, but right now I just don't want to support Atlus.

As long as it has Teddie and Old Lady Reporter hyping everyone up for 5 and a half hours before announcing a delayed release date, the hurt will at least be entertaining.

If it comes out in Japan months earlier than the US, I'm importing it. I'm already playing Persona 4 in Japanese. かかって来い!

Knowing Atlus, it's gonna be an announcement of the event where they'll announce the release date. But the event isn't even planned out yet, they're just planning on doing an event. And then it'll get delayed.

Along with the release date, I expect the next trailer will show the party member we got a glimpse of in the third trailer.
